I'm not exactly a morning person, so I'm generally a little tired when I go to my 8AM Tuesday/Thursday Bio class. But today I was super tired for some reason. So tired that I kept on closing my eyes when the professor's back was turned. Which was totally a bad idea since those stealth micro-naps made my brain go 'Sleep time? OKAY' and my head lolled sharply to the right at one point and I felt as if I was going to fall out of my desk and onto the floor. And I'm fairly sure I would have had I not forced my eyes to stay open for the rest of the class. Would have been very embarrassing, I tell ya.

Anyway, my apologies to Punnet Squares. I would have found you interesting had I not been like the walking dead.

Links.

× Tetris Chair is very awesomely designed.

× 3-D Stereoviews of Meiji-period Japan. According to Pink Tentacle a stereoview "consists of a pair of nearly identical images that appear three-dimensional when viewed through a stereoscope, because each eye sees a slightly different image". The images are posted as gifs to help you imagine what looking through an actual stereoview is like. I had skipped the text when initially viewing this post, so when the pictures started moving I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. XD

× You're Beautiful episode recaps from Dramabeans, complete with screencaps and commentary:
× DEAR JANG GEUN-SEOK, YOU ARE SO GEORGEOUS IN WHITE. Oh god, I can't shut up about this kdrama or its actors.

× Fanfic: Weaving (KHR, 8027). Yamamoto/Tsuna is a rare pairing in KHR-fandom, and this one is so beautifully written. Stop breaking my heart, guys. ;_;

× Very cute Mario and Goomba crocheted dolls.

× As Martin Luther King (didn't) say: I have a Dream(cast).

× Kojima and crew looking completely bad-ass.

× Animal Crossing jewelery, including earrings of the pitfall symbol, fossils, and leaf.

× People of Walmart is simultaneously hilarious and horrifying. Of god, how can people go out in public dressed like that?! (found via [personal profile] impressioniste)

× This cell phone strap of the Prince from katamari is so adorable.

× Pacman ghosts created out of recycled old wood. Very cute, but way overpriced.

× The Uniform Project: 1 Dress, 365 Days. This woman has taken a black dress and each day she accessorizes it into a completely different outfit. Such an interesting project.

× A wind turbine in Japan is decorated with images/characters from Tezuka Osamu manga, including Astro Boy and Black Jack.

Apparently my body has decided that Spring Break is the perfect time to catch up on all the sleep I've lost this semester. Come on, body! I have games to play! An research paper/essay that I will most likely procrastinate on to write! A bathroom to clean! I hate cleaning my bathroom! I can't be feeling tired all the time.

So, yeah, I'm pretty dead right now. But before I melt into a tired heap on the floor, I thought I'd share this link that made go WTF:

According to the the Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force, if you're over 18 and playing Animal Crossing, then you must be a sexual predator. Seriously, WTF. Oh how the misinformed make me want to strangle someone. Especially when it comes to Animal Crossing, one of my favorite things on the planet.

I've been playing Animal Crossing: Wild World for about three years now and yesterday was the first time I successfully wished on a star. When I checked my mailbox this morning I found that the star had sent me a nice letter:

Dear Sena,

What did you wish for when you saw the star? No, that's OK. . . I already know. It is granted. ☆

From Wishy the Star

Lolololol. The star also sent me a nice gift of . . . a green pantry, because that is what I apparently wished for. XD A cheap present, but its still better than the shanty wallpaper my neighbors try to bum off on me.

Just a heads-up to any Wii owners on the flist: eight Wii games will be featured on Amazon.com's Gold Box tomorrow (the 9th) at a special discounted price, with seven of them being available for only a limited time. (Check here for more details.)

I mentioned to my brother that the first limited-time deal would be at 6 AM and he responded with, "You do know you're gonna have to wake up to check which one it is for me, right?" Nooooooo. But because I'm a good sister (and since I'm the one with an Amazon account) I'll probably end up checking what games are available throughout the day for him anyway.

Took a short break from Super Secret Project #1 and Super Secret Project #2 to stitch one of my favorite Animal Crossing visitors, K.K. Slider!

Photobucket

A special stitching done for my brother, who finally seems to be recovering well from his infection, since he's basically K.K. Slider come to life (minus the mad guitar skills and bohemian swagger). They're eyebrow brothers separated at birth, I tell ya. I'd post a picture of him to compare the two, but he'd sooooooo kill me.

(Pattern found via the Sprite Stitch Board: here.)

After completing this one I went right back to Super Secret Project #2 -- which won't be so Super Secret soon since I'm nearly done with the outline and plan on sharing photos of it in its in-progress state. Here's a hint for the subject of SSP#2 if you want to try and guess what series it'll be from: Earth! Air! Fire! Water! And no, its not Captain Planet. XD

OH. MY. GOD. Its a real life K.K. Slider! That pup is too cute for words. ♥♥♥

But its eyes are peering into my soul, asking why I've abandoned my lovely little town for Persona 3 and cross-stitching. Must...obey...Totakeke...

EDIT. Leviosa8 recently posted translations of the Hakushuu Dinosaurs profiles, and for the Quarterback Marco it stated that he knew how to make Coca-Cola--to which I commented how much I'd love to know that myself. (I ♥ Coca-Cola, you see.) So I seriously lol'd when I came across this 'How To Make Coca-Cola at Home' article from [livejournal.com profile] lifehacker today. WAHAHAHA, DID THEY READ MY MIND.
