Whoa, has it really been a year since I last drew anything in my sketchbook? No wonder I was struck with the serious urge to draw something last night. (Even a lame-o sketch would have been fine with me.) And its probably no surprise that that "something" ended up being The Legend of Zelda's Link. Damn, I love that kid.

Normally I'd put up a little preview image of whatever I'm posting, but since these are rough sketches I'm not going to. Please check them out if you'd like.

First, a quick sketch that took me, like, 10 minutes (or possibly less) to draw, so its not all that great (especially since the bottom half of his face and his ears are pretty meh). Also, as you can probably see, his chin ran over the edge of the paper. Haha! I'm sharing it for no other than to perhaps compel myself to draw more (and better).



For some reason, he looks vaguely J. Scott Campbell-esque, which is...distressing. XD

This one is a rough sketch of a work in progress. I wanted to do something that was viewing him from above and he's glancing upward. His ears, hat, and eyes need some work. Plus, I think the strap to his sword sheath and the part in his hair are opposite of what they really are. XD I like this one, though.

Maybe next time I'll attempt someone more masculine. Like Snake... [laughs] But we all know I'll probably draw Raiden (Oh, how I'm tempted to draw his MGS4 look!) or Raikov (again) instead.

Also, er, I hate to ask this since I've already requested something similar a few weeks ago, but does someone have the scanlation of Eyeshield 21 chapter 242 they could upload? I will throw many hearts in your direction. I've looked at mangahelpers with no success (unless I skimmed over it without realizing), Deimon High is down, and Stoptazmo doesn't have it. I must find out what happened at Venus Fort! EDIT. Found it!

And lastly, I.N.V.U. volume 4 is finally being released next month. After three years of waiting, I'm looking forward to more Sey Hong and Siho Lee (and any possible relationship between them). Now, if only Under the Glass Moon would continue. Too bad it'll probably never have any new chapters. ;_;

Now I return to being distracted by Psychonauts.

OMG. INVU????????? I thought it died. Wow. I'm gonna have to re-read it...again. I re-read it once because I thought it was gonna be released soon and I had kind of forgotten what happened but I was confused. It's been years sicne I read that. It was good too. What took so damn long?

I seriously thought INVU was gonna be one of those series that would never be updated again (like Ragnarok and Yami no Matsuei and other series I like alot), so when I saw it listed on Tokyopop's release list for September I was all, "NO WAY!". I'm gonna have to reread it again too, since I remember only random bits and pieces of the story. I'm not sure what took so long for this volume to come out (maybe the creator went on hiatus or something). Too bad it'll probably be forever (or maybe even never) when volume 5 comes out. D:

Me too! If series aren't finished or look like they just shouldn't release them here in America. It gets your hopes up. I love Ragnarok too. And Alichino. Bah. Maybe if we're lucky Vol. 4 will end it.

It's some weird show about a bum. I've never seen it but it has the catchiest commercial on the Colors channel. A song called "Tandem" by Halcali. I just wondered if you had seen it. It looks very strange.
