Normally when one of my cats gets their paws wrapped up in something and they can't get themselves out, they'll let me help them. Usually. But, I seem to have forgotten that Jackie is a PSYCHO, so I can't say I'm really surprised that he clamped his teeth right down onto my thumb. Not that I can really blame him. Both of his front paws were tangled up rather painfully (he was yowling as if he was being murdered) in that mysterious area behind the easy chair (it is old and has random tangles of string back there) so he really wasn't thinking straight.
I bled, I nearly passed out (from shooting up into a standing position way too fast), and now it feels as if I slammed my thumb repeatedly into a door.
And now I'm going to take a trip to the emergency roomsince the wounds are probably deeper than I originally thought. I am full of paranoia. Ignore that last part.
UPDATE. Four hours later I return with an antibiotic perscription, a tentanus shot to the arm, and the knowledge that my cat will be in observation with animal control for the next 10 days since his shots aren't up to date. My baby. ;_;
