I've been browsing through the gallery for dA's Okami contest and some of the fanart is good, some of it is isn't all that great honestly, some have obviously copied/traced the official artwork for their piece (which, surprisingly, hasn't bothered as much as I thought it would), and some...have actually uploaded the original artwork as their own. WTF.

Okay, so it really isn't all that surprising that official artwork is being uploading (since the internet is full of suck), but. Damn. How irritating.

Also, I'm pretty sure I have a kidney infection (or, at the very least, a bladder infection)! Thus, my mood isn't at its best. Hopefully I can schedule an appointment with the horrible Dr. M before I start peeing blood or something.

...you're so right. :( Taking those materials given for the contest and applying some filters in Photoshop doesn't count as art!!!

The pieces are so samey, I'm trying to think of something different to do.

Yeah some of it is SO LAME. Mine isn't the greatest, but that's ok, it was kind of fun. :3

I'm so sorry you have a UTI!!!!! Those are EVIL, get some AZO that stuff is incredible. XD

I liked yours! It was very cute. ♥ The contest has gotten some pretty good submissions, but I think that some relied on the resources given too much. But at least the one's that I was complaining about in this post (the ones that uploaded images from the Okami art (http://www.okamiart.com/") site) have been banned.

It sucks so bad! If I even attempt to drink anything besides water my sides start aching; my mom made me iced tea (which I love so much) the other day and I couldn't even enjoy it. EVIL! And thanks for the heads-up on AZO; I'll be on the look out for it whenever I go to the store.

So I take it you're going to enter the contest? Then I look forward to seeing you entry since I always enjoy what you post on golden_omelette and on your lj. :) ...which you would probably know if I didn't stop myself from capslocking and throwing hearts all over your posts. XD I kinda weird like that.

Oh that's good. 'Cause that was stupid that people just like changed the color and called it theirs. DUMB.

Your sides ache?? That sounds scary. UTI's don't usually do that I don't think, but maybe for some people they do. You might need to see a doctor. I'd still try the AZO though. :)

Yeah, I've never had a UTI before so I probably waited a bit to long to get treatment (thus my symptoms are are worse than a simple UTI, i.e. pain, occasional cold chills, low grade fever). The doctor gave me a seven day antibiotic prescription, so hopefully the pain goes away completely after a few days. Or else I may have to spend some time in the hospital. ;_;

Well hopefully you get better soon!! UTIs are terribleee. Ugh.

I hope you don't have to go to the hospital! I used to have UTIs a lot as a kid and I ended up getting some kidney infection or something and had to go to the hospital for days and get an IV 'cause I got a super high fever. It was strange. I dunno. But that was pretty abnormal.
