First Post: Let's talk Castlevania.
Feb. 4th, 2005 10:37 pmFinally managed to beat Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow last night (well,
actually it was early this morning around 2 a.m. Damn insomnia).
Despite having been sitting on my shelf for about a year since I bought
it, I managed to complete the whole game in 2 weeks. I have a bad habit
of buying games and then just forgeting to get around to playing them.
Final Fantasy games especially suck me in and distract me from the
other games I have. Quite a fun game, despite some cheesy dialogue.
The main character, Soma Cruz, has now become one of my favorite Castlevania characters, but even his pretty boy looks can not beat those of the ever elegant Alucard (who is also in Aria of Sorrow going by the name Genya Arikaado.) Alucard is the ultimate pretty boy of the Castlevania games, at least in my opinion.
( Ramblings on the 'true ending' of Aria of Sorrow )
I'm happy I managed to find a good majority of the souls in the game (about 85% of them). Still curious whether Mana (formerly of Malice Mizer) did the soundtrack to this game or not. Don't remember where I heard this rumor from though.
