In memory of Lena

Just found out that one of my best friends from middle school and junior high died yesterday. Her name was Lena Nguyen, in case anyone remembers her or haven't heard about what happened. I'm quite shocked by the circumstances regarding her death. She'll be dearly missed by me even though we lost contact with each other after she moved before high school.

There was nothing else to watch on tv, so I put the channel on the Selena special on Univision. There was some female singer (who's name I did not catch) onstage singing one of Selena's hits, and my mom walked in and said this after standing there watching for a bit, "You can see her flap." WTF?! What exactly was she referring to? In my mom's mind, what exactly is a 'flap'? I'm scared to find out. I ♥ my crazy mom though.

In other news: I am bored out of my mind. I wish it was time for Futurama.
