Rolling it back to 1989.
Sep. 15th, 2008 09:28 pmPixelation had this challenge awhile back with the theme Game Boy De-Makes, where the idea was to take a new(-ish) video game and "de-make" it into a game for the Original Game Boy. THE RESULTS WERE PRETTY AWESOME. Man, I am in awe. *_*
Personal favorites are the Psychonauts, Okami, and Final Fantasy XII ones. And the Ico one? I LOVE IT. It looks so simple compared to some of the others, but somehow it manages to evoke that same ethereal quality that I absolutely adore in the game. Plus, its one of the only ones that seems like it could realistically work on the Original Game Boy.
