A couple of months ago I saw swatches of OPI's Holland collection (check here and here) and absolutely loved it, and ended up purchasing the entire line. orz

× The 'Venus' project from an Italian artist gives celebrated nudes of art history photoshop makeovers. Very interesting to see how different the photoshopped nudes, who have their figures slimmed down to how the media frequently portrays women, compare to the figures that were idolized at the time of each masterpiece's creation. There's also the notion that slender women today have a certain status in society, and the same could be said of the women featured in the original paintings (i.e. they could afford to eat more and not work as much). There's much to compare and contrast from this project.
