ghostdriveI should be studying for my Trig. test tomorrow. I should be working on my essay for Sociology (which is due Tuesday ^^). I should be at least attempting to start my rough draft for Engl. Comp. which will be worth, oh yeah, ONE-FORTH of my entire grade. Instead, I'm searching for Asaba/Arima Kare Kano fics 'cause dammit, as much as I love Miyazawa and Arima together, I adore the pretty boy duo of Asaba and Arima. ♥ Wheeeee procrastination!
Watched the first episode of GitS: 2nd GiG yesterday on [adult swim], and since I'm probably just going to ramble on in a fangirly manner over it, it shall be put behind a cut to spare you all. On occasion, while watching anime/reading manga/etc, I'll take notes along the way. I'm usually into so many series at one time that this helps in reminding me of various storylines, noting scenes I particularly liked, or whatever else I feel is worth writing down. So as a result, I have tons of scrap pieces of paper with pure randomness written on them. And now, I present to you my very random 2nd GiG, episode 1 notes:
--Batou is a one-man wrecking crew! He destroyed like 5 computer by just running over them; one foot per computer. And while tackling a terrorist, he took out a freaking wall. Should he ever retire from Section 9, he would make a great demolition man. ^_^
--Togusa has the most fantastic mulletin all of anime EVER. Despite the pure lameness of even having a mullet, Togusa somehow makes it work.
--Ah! A scene similar to the first movie! I love when she leaps down the building and just looks upward. Man, that's a great scene. At least this time Motoko didn't have to be naked to use her stealth cloaking. XDDDD
--Speaking of the Major being naked, is it just my imagination, or does it look like the Major has...er, expanded in the boob department? Haha, its seems like she's suffering from "Taki Syndrome". Those who've played Soul Calibur probably know what I'm referring to. One of the female fighters, Taki, seems to gain bigger and BIGGER boobs with each and every new Soul Calibur game there is. She puts even the Dead or Alive girls to shame. XP
--When Aramaki mentioned Section 9 getting new members, for some reason I expected The Laughing Man to step through the door. (Which doesn't really make sense since he already declined the offer at the end of Stand Alone Complex ^^;) But lo and behold its the Tachikomas (well, one of them at least) that are revealed to be the newest additions to Section 9. I actually broke out in the hugest grin (and in pure dork fashion, gave out a loud "whoop!") when they came onscreen because I ♥ the Tachikomas so damn much. ...You know, I'll probably end up making a post of just Tachikoma babble in the future. I love them that much. ♥♥
I hope that made sense, haha. XP
Why does my friendslist skip to Nov. 14/15 once I get past 100 entries? I know I'm probably missing posts because of this so its quite annoying. I wonder how if there is a way to fix it? EDIT: Weird. It only screws up when it skips back to 120 entries. When I try skipping back to 140 it goes back to normal. Very, very odd. ~so confused~
