I possess the twelve-year old gene.
For some reason, I appreciate it more when women tell me I look younger than my age than when men tell me the same thing*. I don't know why, but I get completely weirded out when guys ask me what my age is. Vague inklings of pedophilia perhaps? At the moment I don't like being mistaken for being a pre-teen (since there have been occasions when I haven't been taken seriously and I'm far too polite to get pissy at strangers XP), but I suppose it'll be worth it when I'm like 40 and mistaken for someone much younger. ^_^
*Perhaps because the last time a man said this he asked if I had recently graduated from elementary school. ...I had just graduated from high school. ^^; I laugh at this story now, but at the time it was just a total WTF! moment for me.

Dear Animal Crossing: Wild World neighbors: Please stop giving me "shanty wallpaper/rugs" as gifts. Perhaps the next time I send you a letter, I'll include an equally cheap gift (Maybe a boot I caught in the river?). XDDD
