Dear internet,
Thank you for distracting me so much that I completely forgot about the Hot Pocket I put in the oven for my brother and potentially causingyet another kitchen accident. Fortunately for me, it was only in there 10 minutes more than intended (It was extra-crispy!) and did not burst into Ham & Cheese flames.
Love always,
Your slave Kathy

Season One of Batman Beyond found its way into my hands today. I plan to spend the weekend swooning over Terry McGinnis. ♥

Dear lord, the Sister Act movies have such a hold over me! HELP. ~currently being sucked into the sap of Sister Act 2 and its demon combination of Whoopi Goldberg and her singing trouble-makers~

Oh man, I loved last night's episode. ♥ It just had all the elements to draw me in completely: a gothic-based runway challenge (Jared Gold, you are on my list of interesting designers now ♥), crazy-high platform shoes, an amazing fairy-tale themed photo challenge, and one mega-freak out courtesy of Gina. Ah, this season is turning out great. :)
I still don't like Furonda or Jade. Furonda thinks she's fantastic at what she does and she's not; her runway walk with the roach was quite awkward and her photos have been pretty lackluster for me.Cut her Tyra! And Jade's diva attitude continues to irk me. Though I must admit her photo this week was killer (and she kissed a roach! ...Whoa). Gina also annoys me. She has a beautiful face--those cheekbones!--but her photos are mediocre and she's always the first to start complaining about the challenges. Seriously, her screeching over wearing a roach as an accessory nearly caused my ears to bleed.
And poor Kari! I cringed every time she tripped over her own feet. ...Okay, I also laughed (at all the girls, not only Kari), but that's only because I'm a sadist for pretty girls possibly falling on their faces. Ohohohohoho!
The walking-in-platform-shoes challenge was quite intense. I know that's probably lame of me to say, but I was literally glued to the screen at this point. Platforms = LOVE for me, haha. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Joanie and Brooke--Ms. J called her a closet drag queen, ha!-- walked in them. Nnenna's performance this time was a bit disappointing, but I guess its just because I've gotten used to her being the Golden Child. You can do it Nnenna! I laughed when Nigel commented that Sara walked well in her platforms because "she was used to the altitude already". Oh Nigel. Danielle's walk, like Kari's, also made me cringe. That fall she took looked like it hurt.
I was both surprised and not surprised by who got cut. While I wanted Gina to be eliminated, it wasn't shocking they chose Kari instead.
My mom watched last night's episode with me. She got a big kick out of watching the girls trip over their own feet. XD

Date: 2006-03-24 03:45 am (UTC)How weird is it that both of the Sister Act movies can suck you in so badly? They get me every time, and I've seen them a million.

Damn those singing nuns!Whenever either movie comes on tv I find myself going," Must...change...chann--," but instead I'll be pulled in. AGAIN. XDBatman Beyond is Love. ♥ Its been quite a while since I last watched BB, so my memory of the storyline is pretty fuzzy, but I do remember being crazy obsessed over this show.
