ghostdriveI actually don't hate Jade as much as I did in the beginning. I mean, her personality still grates on my nerves, but she does take good photos. Her mermaid photo was beautiful. Also, her tendency to make up words cracks me up.
Random thoughts on the other remaining models (+ the recently cut one):
Furonda: She's a diva who's way too skinny. Really, a strong wind could easily snap her in half. CUT HER TYRA. I just don't get what most of the judges see in her. Currently my least favorite of the models remaining.
Nnenna: Her elimination was a bit surprising since she was like the Golden Child of this season's ANTM. But considering that her last couple of photos have been lackluster (Her baby doll one? Bleh.), I guess it wasn't too surprising she was cut. At least this brings an end to her phone hogging.
Joanie: Currently I'm leaning towards Joanie for who I want to win. She takes consistently good/great photos and she gets bonus points for making an effort to absorb and respect the Thai cultureunlike annoying Furonda.
Sarah: She has such a beautiful face~. I like her haircut; its very modern and fabulous. I think she takes really good photos, but, for some reason, the judges don't seem to think so.
Danielle: My second favorite of the girls. Takes great photos and has such a gorgeous face. She's a bit of the home-girl type which is quite refreshing.
My mom occasionally watches ANTM with me. She rather enjoys it when the models fall (she got a big kick out of the "walking-in-platform-shoes" challenge) . Seriously, she cackles like MAD when this happens. XD
I was amused the other day when I discovered she thought Vivica A. Fox was the host ("Tyra? Who's Tyra?). She actually asked me "When did that girl from Independence Day get such big boobs?" XDD Oh mom, you crack me up.

Nintendo Revolution is now being called Wii. ...What an odd choice for a name. Also, I keep pronouncing it as "why" instead of "we".Must resist urge to make obligatory "wiiwii" jokes. XD

Bought Advent Children at Best Buy today. The cashier told me that AC has been "selling like hotcakes" there. I told my mom that and she asked if they were selling it with syrup on top. Har har, I love my mom's sense of humor. ♥

I don't really have a favorite yet. I think Furonda's pretty (just needs to gain a few lbs.) but she's such a diva! Wearing a tiara around the house? Wtf? Who does that? She was also the one who passed out rules too right?
Joanie looks depressed and angry all the time. But her pictures weren't bad but she wasn't impressive to look at in person.
Danielle cracks me up. She's so like 'gansta' I'm so glad she got that gap taken care of though! Whew! That was just...not attractive.
Sarah's hair is adorable.
I'm kind of a Jade fan actually. She's a little...crazy but I love her eyes. She's so unique looking.

Date: 2006-04-29 04:39 am (UTC)Yeah, Furonda was the one who passed out her list of rules. When I saw that episode I was like, WTF! Everything she does just screams out DIVA ...Meh, I'm not a fan of Furonda; I've wanted her to be cut since the first episode. ^^;
Oh yeah, did you see when a few of Joanie's teeth were pulled out? Holy crap, I cringed. 0_o Also, I laughed when Danielle called them "dinosaur teeth". XDDDD
Danielle is like THE best girl there. Her personality cracks me up soooo much. She has this ghetto fabulous quality to her that makes her stand out from the rest.
Yeah, Jade is unique looking (Actually, before the show started and I only saw pictures of the girls, I thought she was the prettiest), but her arrogance turns me off. My mom thinks Jade will win though.
