So I've noticed that I haven't really been making many posts about the latest season of Project Runway (as opposed to season 2 where I babbled insanely over it). It's not that I don't like the show this season (I do enjoy the new episodes), its just that I haven't been completely hooked in.
I mean, I like several of the designers, but none of them have stood out as my favorite. The same thing can be said for the models featured this time around. On season 2, by the end of the first episode I had already chosen a designer (Chloe) and a model (Grace) that were the one for me. I was just enamored by the both of them and so, for the rest of the season I was all, "Go Chloe! Beat Santino's ass. Blah blah blah, etc...." Not with season 3; I'm just enjoying the episodes without really rooting for a specific designer.Where's the fun in that?
...I probably sound like I'm complaining, but I'm not. :P
Random babble over the remaining designers: I hope I didn't forget anyone.
And finally, my predictions for who will be in the Final 3 (feel free to tell me your own if you'd like): Michael, Alison, and Uli. Let's see how many I get correct. XD I was so close last time! I got Chloe and Daniel, but dammit, Santino somehow managed to edge out Nick.

- Robert: I liked him in the beginning since he works (worked?) for Mattel and that is awesome, but for the past 2 or 3 challenges he's been boring. Stop with the old lady outfits, Robert!
- Angela: While she is definitely one of the weaker designers (ugh to her "cupcake" skirts as
michachan calls them), I must say I'm sometimes surprised by her. When she's not trying to force her personal style completely onto her work (please stop adding so many rosettes), she's good. Her modernization of Audrey Hepburn was excellent and so very sophisticated. It pains me to compliment her. -_-; - Michael: He's mellow and go-with-the-flow, and I like that. His personality isn't overbearing like some of the other designers and that is reflected in his work. His work, in my opinion, has been consistently good; he's modern, clean, and simple without feeling boring. He made an outfit using coffee filters! And it looked amazing! If that doesn't say talent I don't know what does.
- Alison: She has a very fresh and modern sense of design that is also reflected in her own personal style (she always dressed in black and white and silver). Her construction skills are great and she seems to put a lot of thought into all her work. Similar to with Michael, I've never been disappointed with her.
- Laura: She has a very clean, sophisticated style. The fact that she's always dressed up like she's going to a cocktail party amuses me, but at the same time I like that, even though she's a mother of 5 and in her 40s, she hasn't given up on dressing good. I'm always on the ropes regarding her personality (she's a bit arrogant), but her designs so far have been quite good.
- Jeffrey: Abrasive, somewhat arrogant. I'm so-so with Jeffrey. His style is a bit too deconstructed in a bad sort of way. I either like (note that I don't say "love") what he's made, or I completely hate it. Like I mentioned to Katherine, he's kind of like a watered-down Santino...just less asshole-y.
- Kayne: Great sense of construction skills. I like his upbeat personality. His designs are never boring.
- Uli: She has a great sense of pattern pairing. Who'd have thought an animal print would go so well with a geometric one? She, Micheal, and Alison have all been impeccable to me so far.
- Vincent: Along with Angela, he's one of the weaker ones. ...I really have nothing more to say about him.
