When we first moved here I remember thinking that it was weird for us, a family with two teenagers in it, to live in a community of mostly senior citizens who spent their days gardening and power walking and taking the occasional tractor ride down the street (Oh, old people~). Now, more than ten years later, with the new neighbors blaring music punctuated with the word "redneck", I think, damn, what an annoyance.

I've grown old.
