Oh how I love going to get my teeth cleaned at the dentist! I can try all I want at home to brush and floss to the best of my ability and never have my teeth feel as great as they do when the dental hygienist is done doing her thing. So sparkling! So clean!

She, the hygienist that is, said it was better for me to get a toothbrush with a smaller head (since I have a small mouth and my back teeth are angled inward in a weird way), so she gave me...a kid's Power Rangers one! It's orange and blue, with brightly colored bristles, and the current Black Ranger emblazoned on the handle. But, best of all, the package says that its recommended for ages 5-7. I am 22. XD Perhaps I'll post a picture of it tomorrow since I think its funny.

Also, it looks like I'm due to my wisdom teeth pulled; the bottom two have shifted into a sideways position. (They looked so strange in the panoramic x-ray.) I'll probably have the procedure done once the fall semester ends. And since I have no idea what to expect I must turn to my flist and ask you to:

Tell me your wisdom tooth removal stories/experiences. Tell me anything. Even things that seem basic.

Dear fat cat on my lap,

Stop leaning on my arm, it makes me want to topple over in this chair. Plus, typing with one hand is a pain.

I LOVE YOU ANYWAY. [kiss, kiss]

Sincerely,
The owner who doesn't want to disturb you.

Yeah, having cotton balls in my mouth and eating lame food are things I'm not looking forward to. (Actually, I'm not looking forward to the whole procedure, but you know what I mean.) Ugh, I haven't even gone to the oral surgeon yet and I'm already dreading it. D:

Oh! I remember one thing I wanted to ask. What sort of anesthesia did they use for you? (If they used any at all, that is.) The most I've had done to me are those numbing shots for when my fillings are done, so I have no idea what to expect for having teeth pulled.

Thank you for your information though! ♥ I still have to decide whether to have them all pulled at once, or just the two. Hmm.....

My surgeon was really nice though. Maybe you'll go to the same one (lots of people have). Teenier I think it is?

They use an IV in your arm. Ugh. Yeah I've had tons of those numbing shots, so annoying.

Get them all at once! So you only experience it once. This is what everyone says and I'll agree. I know I wouldn't wanna do it again.

Oh! And after you're healing you have to use these seringes in this weird little hole where your teeth were. I hated it. It doesn't hurt or anything I just really hated it.

Is Teenier someone in Rockport? My dentist gave me a recommendation for an oral surgeon in Corpus, though.

And the thing with the syringe sounds so weird!

No, he's in Corpus. At like Bay Area Surgery or something I think. The place looks like a house.

It is weird!!!
