re: Avatar: The Last Airbender (3x16), The Southern Raiders

This portion of this post will make no sense--much like my previous Avatar posts, lol--if you haven't watched the episode. Haha!
  • "Is it your turn to take a little fieldtrip with Zuko?" XDDD I about died of laughter when Aang said this since its basically what I was thinking yesterday! Now if only Toph would get her own bonding moment with Zuko. That would just make my day.
  • Loved the zeppelin battle between Zuko and Azula. One thing that struck me was Zuko's concern over Azula when it looked as if she might fall to her death. I'm sure that if he was plummeting to his death she wouldn't care at all...especially since she yelled "Its time for me to be an only child!" as she attacked him.
  • Speaking of Azula, she may be spiraling down into insanity but boy does she look beautiful with her hair down.
  • Another moment where I died of laughter: Sokka's Lo~ve Tent. Totally loved the rose in his mouth and his come-hither pose. You're such a pimp, Sokka. XD Please keep your hair down. ♥
  • Sokka and Katara are so adorable as children.
  • Loved the Katara and Zuko interactions. They make excellent ninja. XD
  • "I guess you didn't love her as much as I did." Dude, that's harsh Katara. Kind of wish the episode had ended with her apologizing to both Sokka and Aang.
  • I'm glad Katara finally forgave Zuko. The tension between them was something that made my heart ache.
  • Katara's waterbending skills in this episode were incredible.
  • Heartbreaking Avatar moment #117493840: Katara's mom gave up her own life to protect her daughter. ;_;

I may edit this post tomorrow with more ramblings once I watch the episode again tomorrow.

× Totoro Forest Project. Since I'm still in La-La-Land over Avatar, here's a description of it from the site:
Totoro Forest Project is an international charity effort to preserve Sayama Forest, also known as Totoro Forest. This endangered sanctuary on the outskirts of Tokyo is where director Hayao Miyazaki got the inspiration for his much loved character “Totoro.” Over 200 top international artists from animation, illustration, and comics are donating artwork especially created for this cause.

Very cool, right? So yeah, go check out the site for some amazing art!

× This is probably my new favorite photo of Shigeru Miyamoto. Stop being so goddamn adorable, man! ♥

× Presented in Retrovision: Typing of the Dead. I have one thing to say: If you're a fan of Typing of the Dead like me, I automatically love you. No joke. Its one of my favorite games EVER.
