It Came from Planet X

...There is some form of mutant gnat that is currently buzzing around my face driving me insane. I've swatted at it several times, and thinking I've killed it, I'll just turn back to my computer. But no, the gnat just rises up as if nothing happened. WTF?! Never before have I witnessed such a hardy gnat. Its as if the bugs aroung here are evolving into stronger, more annoying creatures for the mere purpose of pestering me. First it was the ladybugs, and now the gnats. What next? Will that freakishly large spider in my bathroom suddenly decide to attack me while I'm taking a shower? I certainly hope not.
