Día de los Muertos
Nov. 1st, 2006 09:36 pmPlease, oh please, let the compare/contrast essay on my mid-term tomorrow be over something other than architecture. I swear I will scream if I have to write about the Parthenon and the Pantheon. Or the Baths of Caracalla. Or Hagia Sophia. Or Basilica of Constantine. Or any other building for that matter. I'm hoping it'll be over Greek and Roman sculpture, but with my luck lately it probably won't. PRAY FOR ME, PEOPLE.
It's not that I don't find those places interesting, its just that describing them is so tedious sometimes.

I've noticed that I listen to "War Dogs" whenever I want to get pumped up for something. I don't know why, but that song just makes me want to get up and start running laps around a track or something. Weird, huh? Of course, I'll need all the energy I can get if I plan on studying all night. At the risk of sounding extra dorky, I always think of Earthbenders and the powerful movements they make whenever I hear this song. XD Yes, Avatar has eaten away at my brain.
