Highlight of the day: Getting the highest score of my class on the art history mid-term. YAY! Seriously, this had me super excited since I've spent the past two weeks absolutely convinced that I'd failed the damn thing. I thought I had bombed the long essay, which was a comparison of the Parthenon and the Basilica of Constantine (worth 30 points), but I didn't! [got 28 points on it] ♥ Also good: The instructor didn't make me read any of my essays to the class this time. DOUBLE YAY.

Ziff Davis discontinues Official Playstation Magazine (OPM) -- Man, this sucks. There are two gaming magazines that I get, PSM and OPM, and OPM has always been the one I've preferred. PSM has always struck me as lesser quality somehow, and besides, I love OPM's layout/contributors/everything else. Plus, I've been a subscriber to OPM for so long (since around 1999?) that this news is pretty disappointing to me. ITS LIKE THEY'RE TAKING AWAY MY FIRST BORN. [is easily attached to certain magazines and their staff]

Oh well, at least there's still EGM.
