My mom has this habit of showing off the furniture in my room to relatives/guests/etc no matter what I'm doing (eating, sleeping, doing homework, whatever). Normally this doesn't bother me since, well, I don't care and usually people have the common courtesy not to touch my stuff. Don't touch ANYTHING unless you ask, people. Damn.
So my mom's cousin came into town today and they wander into my room because my mom wanted to show off my new bookcases. I'm half-asleep at the time, not paying too much attention to them when I spy the cousin's hand reach out and, in sleepy horror, watch as it goes straight for my small yaoi section, despite the fact that I've positioned these books on a low shelf of my bookcase. (WTF?! Who the hell stoops down to pick up some random book rather than reach to one at arm's length?) NOOOOOOOOO!!! And to make things worse, she flipped through it! ARGH, I seriously hope she wasn't really paying attention to the content. D:<
Btw, the manga she picked up was Kazusa Takashima's Inu Mo Arukeba (released as "Man's Best Friend" here). OMFG, please don't remember anything from it, lady. [dies of embarrassment and annoyance]
------
Speaking of Kazusa Takashima, I was reading her Houshin Engi doujin "Brothers" yesterday and off to the side of one panel she makes the comment, "This frame is so nasty!" AHAHAHAHA, I love you, Kazusa.
