The L-block* from Tetris has been kicking ass in GameFAQs sixth annual Character Battle and I'm kinda hoping it wins in the finals just to see the mass uprising of angry, irritated fanboys. Link and Cloud have won enough times already! Let a tetramino have its day. XD
Besides, the visual image I get from thinking about a Link vs. L-block battle makes me laugh.
If I added an FX to this it would be "Bonk!"
And now for some totally inane babbling: But why the L-block? Personally I much prefer the I-block, but that's only because I like to pile the other blocks up in such a way that when I slam down the I-block (I'm impatient you see and play Tetris at light speed) I'm looking for that simultaneous four line clearing. Remember the impressive sound effect this made in the original GameBoy version? It was the sound of angels singing. (Not really.)

(*)It would be more accurate to call it an L-shaped piece (or I-shaped piece, S-shaped piece, etc), but I just can't stop my fingers from typing out "block". They prefer it that way.
