The swelling in my thumb has finally gone down enough where I can type for long periods comfortably. Yay! Plus, the spot where they gave me the tetanus shot is no longer sore. Double yay! Its a good day, so...

Things that make me happy lately:

+Cats. Big cats, small cats, my cats, your cats, ugly cats, fat cats, ALL CATS. I have an addiction and it can only be cured by more cats. Let's ignore the fact that cats always make me happy... :3

+Eating breakfast items throughout the day. I've been partial to waffles as midnight snacks lately.

+Rocking out to international music.

+Cross-stitching. As much as I complain, I actually love this crazy hobby to pieces.

+My current ultimate OT3, Kanda/Allen/Lavi. Yeah, I'm still squealing over DGM 153.

+Movies that are quite possibly crappy to everyone else, but they are great to me. Like the Rush Hour, Tomb Raider, and Resident Evil movies.

+Ani-Monday on the Sci-Fi Channel. Apparently, they started showing anime again and I totally didn't know! Man, I remember back in the early 90s when they showed edited, sorta badly dubbed movies like Akira, Demon City Shinjuku, Galaxy Express 999, and Fatal Fury: The Movie (and various others). Oh! And then there was "Saturday Morning Anime" where I got into Iria and Tenchi Muyo and whatever else they decided to show during that two-hour block every week. And, hey, anyone else remember when Apollo Smile hosted Anime Week in like 1998 or so? (You know, the Apollo Smile who once called herself the "Live-Action Anime Girl"? AHAHAHAHA WHAT. ) ...I COULD RAMBLE ON FOREVER YOU KNOW. [dorky nostalgia] I can probably blame my anime addiction on the Sci-Fi Channel, haha.

+No Reservations and Bizarre Food with Andrew Zimmern. Travel shows + food shows = AWESOME.

+Vacuuming my room. Shut up, I'm domestic.
