Tifa fanart (....well, an attempt at least)
Since its been quite a while since I've drawn anything regularly (and by that I mean completed artwork, not the random doodles that I'll sketch to pass the time between doujin downloads), I thought that I should get back into the drawing groove. So lately all attempts have been fanart, though none have gone to being fully completed. Such as the Catboy!Ed pic that never got past the rough draft stage. And then, last night I drew this: (Its based on a screenshot of Tifa from Advent Children that I linked to in a previous post.)
And again, like the FMA one, its not complete. I somewhat like it. I can see all the spots that need work on (i.e. her left eyebrow, the lips, need to actually draw the shouldars and clothes in, blah blah blah), which frustrates me until I remember, ITS A ROUGH DRAFT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT. So then I can relax. Phew, now I remember why I stopped drawing in the first place (getting frustrated by uncompleted work, and because I had to work on projects I didn't want to for class.)
In other news, we finally let my cat Apollo out of his cage today (he was neutered last week, and since he's quite a little demon we put him in the cage to prevent him from pulling his stitches), and he is VERY hyper at the moment. I'm sort of worried he might injure himself, but I'm sure he'll calm down later.
I have strange dreams, but this is the rare time that I've been grossed out by my own dreams. In it I had the tip of a finger attached to one of my toes. And that's not the grossest part, while investigating it, I pulled on it and it became a longer. A...finger....attached...to...my....toe.....WTF!! Ahhhhh! It was gross. What was stranger is that when I tugged on it even more (I don't know why I tugged on it), I would lose the hearing in my left ear as the finger became more elongated. WTF X 2!! What's the connection between my hearing and a finger on my foot!? The last thought I had before waking up was whether or not I could get it amputated. ...Ugh.
Also bought 8 manga books today. YAY! ^_^
