ghostdriveI'm not very good with typing up posts regarding real life when its not nail polish swatches or fashion shots, but I think most of you are aware my family is getting set to move into a new house. "New House" is what I refer to it on tumblr/twitter whenever I make any vague reference to it.
Anyway, the whole decorating process has been super slow, but today we took a trip to an Ikea in Houston so that I could pick up this bookcase I really liked, and also check out other possible purchases.
My plan was to take my camera to take pics of furniture that caught my eye that I could later make a final choice over whether it was right for New House or not. But pffffft, that quickly flew out the window when I became dazzled by the amazingness of Ikea's room displays. THEY GIVE ME TOO MANY IDEAS. So that's what I ended up taking pics of instead.
I really want this desk in all white! (BTW, click on all images for full-size pics.)
I really love white furniture! I've already planned that the room that will be my "library" will have all white furniture.
Mom wants to change the backyard patio area into a kitchen, so we spent some time checking out all the kitchen displays.
Mom's boyfriend also kept on accidentally walking into the few shots I took lol.
Ended up coming home with 4 bookcases, and a cart full of stuff.
BONUS SELCA TIME. Just because. This is me on 15 minutes of sleep lol
One of the very worst angles for my nose, but that's okay.
Now as for what I got:

Four of these white bookcases for my library. Can't wait to get my books organized on them!
This flower patterned duvet cover and pillowcase. My bed is twin size so it only came with one pillowcase unfortunately. Also picked up a lightweight duvet as well. I need to find a better pic of the flower pattern, it looks so awesome!
Check out the rail behind Scathingly Brilliant, one of my fave fashion bloggers to see what idea I plan to do with this container. I bought 3 of them, a chrome rail, and a package of hooks.
I've always liked these type of mirrors.
And then an assortment of other things: a cutting board for my mom, a plushie for my dog, a few little plushies for me (orz), this cool grill pan with a foldable handle, plastic drawer liner, a wooden tray, a chrome two-tier dish drying rack...I think that's it.
Yeah, this house decorating is off to a random start.
I'm running on very little sleep, so please excuse any incoherency lol
