Hurricane Rita

Just wanted to let you guys now that I won't be able to update for a short while, since tomorrow my family (and twenty of our cats) will be evacuating for the hurricane. No idea when I'll be back, could be a week or two; maybe shorter, maybe longer. Meh, I'm rather depressed at the moment because of it.

A question to my fellow Rockport people (and anyone else on the Texas coast): Are you also evacuating? If so, where do you think you're headed? 'Cause my family has no idea where we're headed. ^^;

...Anyway, hope to be back soon.

Everyone I know is leaving. I'm going to San Antonio. Sara and them are all going to Austin along with like 3 of my other friends.


Dang all like, 20 cats? o.O So many......

I actually have 24 cats, but 4 of them will not go in a pet carrier (and two of those are strays that only come once in a while to my house). So as much as it hurts me to leave them (actually, it makes me physically ill at the thought of "abandoning" them), we have no choice.

With any luck, Rockport won't be effected much and they'll be okay.

I hope this is all just a big over-reaction. I really think it is. I'm going to Zapata, TX because my dad has a trailer down there that he uses when he hunts on the deer lease. I hope you, Santos, your mom, and all your kitties have an easy, unstressful time.
