Thanksgiving dinner planning HELL
Attempting to put together a meal plan for Thanksgiving because I'm feeling unsocial and don't want to go eat at someone else's house.
Every year we eat at some relative's house and every year I end up going home semi-hungry since they all seem to share the same boring, bland recipes. THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH DRY, WHITE MEAT TURKEY I CAN TAKE!* Alas, not even the best gravy can make dry turkey have any taste. The downside to making Thanksgiving dinner myself is that my mom says I have to make enough for 50 people.
WTF?!!! Is she expecting to invite every single damn person in the family.?!** I just wanted to celebrate with her and my brother, not with aunts/uncles/etc. who I barely speak to. The most I've ever seen show up for dinner at someone else's place is about 25.Damn you large Mexican families!
Eh, I don't know if I have the patience to cook for a large amount of people.

**Every time I cook or bake something she invites a lot of people over for some odd reason. My cooking isn't that impressive. ^^;

no subject
They like this new thing now, eating italian the night before Thanksgiving at this restaraunt in San Antonio. Kinda odd..... but whatever. It just means on Thanksgiving I'll have to hang out with my crazy grandma and be bored, hopefully we'll go to the movies or something. =)
