Today was the first day for my Drawing I class. The only thing worth mentioning about it, since we only had to stay for about 30 minutes or so, is that the instructor looks so young. I actually mistook him for a student when I walked in! He looks like he's in his late twenties/early thirties, but then he said he had gone to Del Mar twenty years ago, so that had to make him somewhere in his late thirties/early forties.

Note to self: Pick up art supplies by Monday.

Currently there are seven contestants left in Project Runway, but only three of them will make it to showing their designs at Olympus Fashion Week. Even though I'm fairly bad at making predictions (Come on, I totally guessed wrong at who would win ANTM. I thought she was the underdog, dammit!) I feel like telling you who I think the three designers will be.

Chloe -- My number one favorite. ♥ Unlike some of the other designers, she has yet to make a "bad" design. All are very modern and simple, which I love, with clean lines and flattering colors. To quote Michael Kors, "she creates for the woman"; a feminine, yet appealing to all, style. Chloe herself is very adorable (I want to steal her away~) and dresses in a style that reflects her designs. Also, her model, Grace, has the most fantastic red hair! She's gorgeous~. ♥

Daniel V. -- Has a great personal style (his hair if fabulous!). Designs are creative and look good. A laid-back individual that works well both by himself and with a team.

Nick -- The man with the faux-hawk. Great sense of style personally and design-wise (Why didn't he win the Nicky Hilton challenge?! That dress was gorgeous!). Quite charismatic.

As for the other four, here's what I think of them:

Santino -- Arrogant. Very defensive when his designs are called into question. WORST HAIR EVER. Ugh, its soooo greasy looking. General Zod, from Superman II, could be his twin and that cracks me up (Don't believe me? Look at the pictures linked here). He tries far too hard to prove that he is the best. Also tends to push the challenge way beyond what is expected, and while this has worked for him, it makes his bad designs look like Alexander McQueen on acid (<----very... out there). If he wins I will SCREAM. I have a feeling he may make it to Fashion Week just because I hate him so much. ^^;

Kara -- A bit average to me. She designs well but nothing makes her stick out much. May be too sensitive for the industry.

Zulema -- Slightly abrasive. Headstrong. Part of me likes her because she does design well, but another part of me doesn't like her because of her attitude.

Andrae -- ~laughs~ Looks a bit like Robert Verdi. Also a good designer with a great sense of lines and colors, but his mini breakdown in the "Clothes off your back" challenge make me wonder if he's well suited for the internship at Banana Republic. Though, he hasn't acted that way again, so maybe that reaction was a one time thing.
