So, I'm returning from my mini-hiatus much sooner than I expected. While I'm still pretty sad, getting back to my normal routine helps things out. Plus LJ is such an addiction. XD

Anyway, here's a Count Cain sketch I did last night. Its not THE Cain sketch I've talked about before (sorry [livejournal.com profile] ryutsuki, I know you've been waiting for that one), but its sort of related to it.

Sorry if the image is a little hard to see. Or it could just be hard to see for me. I'm not having a good vision day today. For some reason, my brother's scanner turns my pencil lines a blue-gray color.

This sketch is based off a picture I saw on [livejournal.com profile] tenimyuenorondo of former Kikumaru Eiji actor from Tenimyu*, Nagayama Takashi (aka Nagayan). I liked his pose (and his jacket ♥) so I decided to put Cain in his place. Cain was given a sweater vest, tie, and collared shirt because I adore nicely dressed men (I'm shallow!)... and because I think he'd be the type to dress well for class. XD Also added a lame background for not reason at all. Perhaps to fill up the abundant white space. I imagine he's smirking at Riff in this pic. XDDD

I wish I had made his front bangs longer (and overall, his hair messier), but I liked how it turned out so I kept it as is. What do you think?

Wow, I'm talking waaaayyyyy too much over such a simple sketch. XP

Museum of macabre looking for a new home -- Man, I love museums of medical oddities like the one in this article. Another museum, The Mütter Museum, is one I'd really like to visit one of these days.

Note to self: Super Princess Peach is released Wednesday.

*randomly stumbles here via [livejournal.com profile] xxx_holic and notices that you mentioned Mütter Museum*

Eh...I've visited the Mütter Museum on a school field trip. What I remember most are the gift shop and the multi-leveled room filled with skulls and other human remains. I suppose it would be a great experience to others who are interested in medical oddities—all I remember is that I was shaking with terror and gripping a random classmate's arm as we passed through the halls of bones. (I have a weird reaction to seeing anything dead. When I was little, I was terrified of the dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History. Now, I find myself flinching at the sight of primates' bones and twitching in the prescence of taxedermy. I won't look at the body at an open-casket funeral—but that's partially for religious reasons.)

What were they thinking, sending unwitting MC chemistry students on an AP biology trip?!

You know, it amuses me when someone stumbles across my journal since I feel like my entries are so boring. XD

Sorry to hear that your trip to the Mütter Museum was less than enjoyable. I can understand why its not your type of trip to take, but I like that sort of thing (sketetons, fossils, etc.) so I'd probably have a totally different experience. ^_^
