More gnat angst and the possible return of the flaming towel

Grrr....the gnats are bothering me again today. I kill one (die under my finger I say!) and another one pops up in its place. How annoying. If it wasn't for the makeshift gnat morgue I've set up on a sheet of paper (Shut it...I know that sounds crazy, but I'm too lazy to walk to the trashcan to dispose to them) I'd think it was the same gnat reviving each time to continue torturing me in zombie mode. Scary. Whether I'm referring to myself or the zombie gnat as scary I'll leave it up to you to decide.

Also, earlier today I almost had a repeat of the flaming towel incident. Luckily this time I noticed the threads coming off the kitchen towel before it got near the oven coils. ^^; Will I one day explode in a fiery kitchen death?

EDIT: Well, I've pretty much given up on one of my classes this semester. To be more accurate I've given up on a project in that class and since its worth 15% of our grade it feels like I'm giving up in this class. I never wanted to take this class in the first place; its a required class for the core curriculum.

The project is just so uninteresting that I don't have the motivation to even do it. Which is quite unusual since I can usually force myself to complete the most boring projects ever. I don't like not doing my assignments. I dislike failing. Could this possibly be the beginning of minor depression (or maybe college blues)? Meh, most likely I'm just being moody. Believe me, I'm one of the moodiest people you'll ever meet.

~sigh~ I care about doing this project, and yet I don't care. (Does that make sense?) Yet, the only reason I do care is because I'm an academically driven person. Blah, I have a feeling I won't do it anyway.

What's the project?

I'm moody too...and destined for some sort of fiery kitchen accident as well...I just know it...it'll happen just you wait & see.

To make the explanation short, the project involves interviewing a member of our family about something they lived through or happened in their life and then relating it somehow to the time period they lived in (ex. this one girl interviewed her grandma who was physically abused in the 1940s when women didn't speak up against this sort of abuse). See, it sounds interesting, but actually doing it is the most boring thing in the world (...at least in my opinion it is). BLAH, I SMELL FAILURE IN MY FUTURE.

Haha, if you do have a fiery kitchen accident, be sure to make a post about it. Then I can say, yup, I'm not the only one who fears the oven assassin. (<----That's the new name for my stove. Its out to get me.) XD

No I wouldn't enjoy that project either. I hate interviews. I would be terribly dissapointed with that project. Terribly.

Oven Assassin...HAHAHAHA XD. Oh too perfect.

I will make sure I post about it.

One time I left my water boiling so long the water evaporated and started making scary nosies....
