My mom is snoring away in my bed. I wish she'd finish her room soon. ^^;
Finally at the last battle against Xemnas in KH2. Unlike all those Mega-Gamers on my flist (i.e.
michachan,
raknarok,
gravitykills, and
tepidvisions) who seemed to breeze through the game and beat it within a week or two of its release (Highly impressive guys!), I've been moseying along at my own pace. ...Which generally means that I've been taking my sweet, sweet time doing EVERYTHING possible. (Except for the Sephiroth battle. That'll have to wait until I've leveled up properly.) Blah, blah, blah, this paragraph is going nowhere.
Random thoughts from the beginning up until the final battle:
I found the first part of the game, when you play as Roxas, to be incredibly slooooowww. It felt so slow to me that I'd play for like 30 minutes and then go, that's it, that's enough for today. XD Also, they (Pence, Olette, Hayner, and Roxas) seemed to be eating ice cream so much that I actually started going "ARGH, no more ice cream!" at the screen. My brother came in once when I did this and now every time he walks in and I'm playing KH2 he says, "So...where's the ice cream?" XDDDD
Goofy is surprisingly deep. While Sora and Donald have this, in a sense, "Shoot first, ask questions later" mentality (i.e. when they tackled Mushu in The Land of Dragons) to them, Goofy actually thinks things out. I love that he's the "smart" one of the trio.
Leon is love. You know when Sora and crew were sucked into the Space Paranoids world? Oh man, Leon looked so lost and cute. No matter how tough he tries to act, Leon is such a softy on the inside.
When you get Riku into your party, just watch how he runs. He keeps his left hand hanging to his side and it sort of looks like he's making an emergency run to the bathroom. Haha.
Speaking of Riku, boy does he have some fabulous hair. ♥
I was highly amused when Sora fell to his knees after seeing Riku again. Haha, poor Kairi. She only gets a hug from Sora, while Riku gets Sora on his knees and crying. Er...that last sentence sounds a bit perverted. XD
Oddly enough, compared to any of the boss battles fought in "The World That Never Was", I've found Xaldin (in Beast's Castle) to be the toughest. I died twice before finally getting into my battle groove with him. Also, Xaldin has the most horrible hair EVER.
Axel is HOT and so gay for Roxas.
At the end of the Space Paranoids world (the second visit), when Tron hugged them all, I seriously went "Awwwww". It was cute, and for some reason, quite touching.
Was anyone else having Star Wars flashbacks when Xenmas whipped out those red "light sabers" (What the hell are his weapons anyway?) in the first battle against him? I started laughing like crazy.
Xehanort/Xemnas is gorgeous. Why are all the bad guys so good looking?
No matter how much they tweaked the Gummi Ship system, I still find it incredibly boring to try and make one.
Hmmm....I had more to mention here, but I don't remember. I'll probably come back and add to this list later on.

So the first time I watched Grave of the Fireflies I cried like a baby. I mean full out gasping for breath, clamping my hands over my mouth crying. My lungs were freaking burning by the time the movie ended. It was, perhaps, THE most painful cry of my life. ...Well, not really, but you get the point I'm making.
I was on my period at the time so I thought, hey, maybe my extra moodiness at that time of the month had something to do with the extreme emotion I had felt towards this movie. But nooooo, I watched it a second time, and then a third time, and I still could not make it through without tearing up. Seriously, I hear the first line and, as if on cue, out come the waterworks. Its such a moving film.
Hmmm....there's no real point to this section. Just felt like sharing that GotF makes me cry.
------
Uh-oh, I can hear the cats making a racket in the kitchen. Got to go make sure they don't knock any plates (or anything else) over. ^^;

And the whole Riku/Sora reuniting is a bit gay, too.
Xaldin was a PAIN IN THE ASS, Xigbar gave me the most trouble however.
Sephiroth is really easy if you know how to use the abilities you gain through leveling your drives (Aerial Dodge, Air Glide, Quick Run).
All I have left is the Paradox Hades cup, and a bit of synthesis and I'll get to see the secret ending. According to online buzz, it's not as amazing as the KH1 secret ending. But, I think I'll like it, anyhow.
Did you play Chain of Memories? Just curious.

Xigbar gave me trouble too
and boy, is he one of the uglier members of Organization XIII, but the only boss battles I actually had to retry multiple times were Xaldin (like I mentioned in my post) and Demyx in Hollow Bastion (his damned Water Dancers screwed me up every time).Haha, I haven't really been using my drives as often as I should so I don't have any of the abilities you listed. XD I definately need to do some MAJOR leveling up before I even attempt to fight Sephiroth.
I just recently bought Chain of Memories, so I haven't had a chance to play it yet.

"I found the first part of the game, when you play as Roxas, to be incredibly slooooowww"
I totally agree with this, and earning money for the train was so boring... but it ended beautifully with the line "Sora, I guess my summer vacation is... over." I felt kind of sad, actually... even if he was a nobody. Plus, I liked the 7 wonders of Twilight Town segment. Reminded me of something... dunno what, though.

The real significance of that line didn't hit me until later on. But when it did I was like, "Wow, so beautiful..."
I was sort of neutral with the 7 Wonders of Twilight Town thing. They were somewhat interesting (and it further developed the relationship between Roxas and the others), but by then I was already tired of the slow pace of Roxas segment.
Love your Sora icon. ♥
KH2 = L.O.V.E.
Let me ramble about your rambles:
I found the first part of the game, when you play as Roxas, to be incredibly slooooowww.
I agree completly. It made me forget all about Sora's life and wonder what happened to him it seemed to take so long. And then Sora came about and I forgot all about Roxasland.
No matter how tough he tries to act, Leon is such a softy on the inside.
So, so true. ♥
...when Sora fell to his knees after seeing Riku again. Haha, poor Kairi. She only gets a hug from Sora, while Riku gets Sora on his knees and crying.
Oh I know! I was like wtf Sora? Your love is right here and all you do is hug her (although he never did see her drawing on the wall until later so I guess he didn't know she liked him?) and then Riku he just gets all sappy and a little gay for I've got to say. (Although it was very touching) Just..awkward almost.
At the end of the Space Paranoids world (the second visit), when Tron hugged them all, I seriously went "Awwwww". It was cute, and for some reason, quite touching.
Oh me too!!! I was very touched by this scence oddly. It was just so...♥warming. =)
Xehanort/Xemnas is gorgeous. Why are all the bad guys so good looking?
I guess if they're ugly and bad you just hate them (ex: those ugly XIII members). Oh Xemnas how beautiful you are♥
No matter how much they tweaked the Gummi Ship system, I still find it incredibly boring to try and make one.
Me too.
Did you go d/l the Secret trailer? You HAVE TOO. It's neat.
But it gets you all pumped for 3. Which won't come out FOREVER if it ever does.

:) Also, when Tron said, "Wow, I have so many friends in the User world," (or something like that) I was smiling like crazy. It was so cute~. Oh Tron. I love you.

Ahahaha, you are absolutely correct; I seem to love only the beautiful members of Organization XIII. Xemnas = gorgeous! Axel = HOT! I ♥ those two. Meanwhile, Luxord, Xigbar, and Xaldin are pretty ugly in comparison. Heh heh, sorry guys. You just don't cut it as pretty boys.

Curious, where can I download it? Just in case, you know, if I get lazy and don't want to earn the secret trailer myself. XD
Re: KH2 = L.O.V.E.
Yeah we were lazy plus you have to do a crapload of stuff to get it on Regular mode.
I don't know the link but you can google "Kingdom Hearts 2 Secert Trailer" and find it. It might try to give you the old secrect trailer but keep looking there should be like 2 sites on the first page that have it. It's on one of those YouTube program things.
