ghostdrive: ([courtroom battle] Phoenix VS Edgeworth)

Objection!

1. I wish more of the Phoenix Wright (Gyakuten Saiban) series would be released here. Ace Attorney was such a fun and interesting game to play. Though, shouting "Objection!" or "Hold it!" at the screen made me feel kind of silly--which is probably why I preferred to use the touch screen for those parts as opposed to the microphone.

Also, Edgeworth's purple suit was one of the gayest things ever. ...I LOVED IT. If only more prosecutors would dress as flamboyantly as he does. ♥ Plus, I still contend that he and Phoenix were getting it on in the courtroom lobby; those two had sexual tension coming out the wazoo. XD

2. I've noticed that I go through phases when I completely avoid touching my PS2; I just stop playing games on it, and it'll sit there collecting dust. (Sorry, PS2!) Now that I think about it, I haven't even picked up the controller since April, when I was at the last battle of KH2. ARGH, that's another thing I always do: playing through games, especially RPGs, until I'm nearly done, and then setting them aside for a new one without even finishing the previous. [sigh] Sometimes I lack motivation in my game playing. -_-;

EDIT: ROFL, while looking through Andy Lau's page on Wikipedia, I noticed a link to a site called Asian Hunk (or Asian Men Pic Directory). XDDD So terribly amused. That site is probably going to distract me now. Damn those Hong Kong movie stars for being so attractive.

I HEART ANDY LAU.

I beat nearly every game I get. If the game is good then I finish it for sure, and most of the time I try to do every single sidequest, extra mission, etc. there is in the game. If a game sucks then I'll still play through it, possibly with codes so the suffering ends sooner. I'm a game freak. I still have a pile of games I haven't finished but none are good enough to make me really want to play them. Thats why I am currently playing my 2nd file on Chrono Trigger and my 16th file on EarthBound. :)

Ahaha, I do that too, and that's probably one of the reasons why I get distracted by other games so easily. It's a tedious process, but a part of me can't resist doing everything there is to do in a game.

Man, you'd probably get along well with [livejournal.com profile] gravitykills. She's a fellow EarthBound fan that's played through the game numerous times.

2.

Oh I HATE THAT!! I'm the exact same way. I think I've mentioned it before but I just have to rant about it. It's annoying just knowing your game is sitting there at the last part NOT FINISHED. Uggggh. FFVII and VIII are sitting there waiting for me. At Sephiroth and Edea. =P

Meeee toooooo! I got so distracted doing all the side quests (and everything else completely unnecessary to completing the game, haha), that once I got to the area where the final battle was, I just stopped playing. I NEED TO FINISH THOSE TWO GAMES.

Though, isn't it Adel you fight at the end of FF8? Meh, its been so long since I've played that game that my memory of the storyline is vague. XD

[identity profile] michachan.livejournal.com 2006-06-18 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
XD Hahaha It IS Adel. I'm just confused. I haven't played in so long I forgot.

Even though I was having a blast when Edea turned good using her in lots of battles. I have a game saved so I can play as her anytime. XD

Can't believe I forgot that....

I never finished every side quest. Oh and I'm obsessed with everyone being at level 100. They are on 8 but on 7 I'm only on like 80 something. It's hard leveling up on 7 for some reason.

Mostly I was obsessed with getting Knights of The Round summon on 7 but I could NOT figure out the Chocobo breeding. Then someone else did and I was like OHHHHHHHHH...hey this is sorta fun. So I finally got it. But then I still didn't go fight Sephiroth...

And 8...? Well I never got all the cards I think that's why I sorta stopped playing.

I still ♥ Final Fantasy though even if I can't seem to beat one...

You could kill Sephiroth in 1-2 hits with KotR, go do eeet!!!

XD Haha

Maybe I will go do that soon. I've been feeling like I should play some FF lately.

Edea was one of my favorite characters in FF8. ♥♥♥ Plus, I enjoyed the music that played during her scenes. So cool~. Haha, I have her track numbers memorized from the FF8 soundtrack discs. XD

On FF7, I only have a few people leveled up high; Cloud (of course, since you can't take him out of your party, ARGH), Red XIII, Vincent, and, I think, Cid. Yuffie, Tifa, Barret, and are like around level 67 or something. I didn't get Aeris too leveled up 'cause she died too soon. ^^; Poor Cait Sith, he was kind of annoying in battle, so I rarely used him. (Sorry, Cait!) Also, I had a habit of pairing off certain people with certain summon materia (since I restarted the game NUMEROUS times for some odd reason). Same thing with the guardian forces in FF8. Haha, I associate certain characters with specific materia/GFs.

I was only semi-successful with Chocobo breeding. I think I got a Mountain (or was it a River one?) and was trying to breed off its mate, but then I got totally sucky at Chocobo racing. XD

I loved Edea. She was a cool villian for the short period of time she was a villian. She did have good music...although I can't remember the tune at this moment. XD But I do remember loving it. I like Kuja's theme in 9. I need to steal Sara's 9 so I can play it sometime....

Cloud, Vincent and Yuffie are leveled up on mine. Everyone else kinda died. Tifa's sorta leveled up...but barely. I hate Cait Sith. =P He just annoyed me too.

Yeah my Materia gets paired with certain people. Especially on 8 I had very precise GF and magic attached. In 7 I wasn't so picky. Vincent got all the fire stuff though. It just sorta suits him. Guess it's the red cloak and demon-like appearance.

Oh man! I did NOT get the Chocobo breeding. I'd race and race and race and always lose. Then I'd breed and always get yellow. So I gave up then a friend got a blue one and was like, "Just go feed it." And ta-da! Now I have them all. XD I'm still not fond of racing either. Kinda dull.

It's neither Edea or Adel. It's Ultimecia. And theorists say that Ultimecia is Rinoa. Ultimeica came from the future. Damn Square Enix plots. Hehe. :)

You're right! See, I told you my memory of FF8 was vague. XD

Dang, it is...

Now I really do need to go play 8 again...

I'd say rush (I don't mean don't look at anything... take your time to explore, you'll get familiarized) through the game the first time, don't use a guide at all, then if it's really a good game (worth a 2nd COMPLETE look), then use a guide to help you play through a 2nd time so you don't miss anything..

But, who am I to say... I have so many games to beat, and so many games to beat again since I Gamesharked my way. Arghhh.
