Takeru "Tsunami" Kobayashi has once again won Nathan's annual hot dog eating contest for his sixth straight win. Damn man, just hearing the amount of hot dogs you ate this year (53 3/4!) makes me feel a bit queasy. Though, he actually had some close competition this year in Joey Chestnut, who managed to eat 52 of them. WOW.

♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. SWIRLS! ♥

Yes, I actually celebrate my cats' birthdays. Dork is me. XD ...Well, really, it isn't his birthday per se, but this is when he came into my life. I'M SO CHEESEY.

Its been about one year since we rescued you and Sophie (now deceased) from that ant-ridden, waterlogged pet carrier at my grandma's house. That night, I stayed up worried sick that either of you would pass away if I even attempted to get some sleep. But, you've managed to grow into this large, orange furball who still acts like he's small enough to fit in my hands. Here's to many more happy years together! :3

EEP! Mr. Swirls is so cute! The ribbon on him is adorable. I wish I could have a cat too, but I own birds already, and a cat would shred them. And it's so nice of you to save him! :D

I really like birds too. If I didn't have cats, I'd probably own a few birds instead. XD Back when I was in Houston, I used to have parakeets, but I had to give them away once we moved (though I don't really know why). What kind do you own?

Mine are two EXTREMELY gay budgerigars. They are males, but they are like (I DON'T KNOW?) preening one another, feeding one another, and assorted lover actions. Even though it's really cute, it makes me nauseated to think about human beings that act like them. ^_^
