Most of you know that I'm sensitive about animals. And I mean really sensitive. I don't like hearing or reading about how some people mistreat (or fail to take care of) their pets. For chris-sakes, I can't even watch the Animal Planet channel without tearing up! Though, sometimes I'm crying at AP because something has made me happy, so...I'm just a sap, I guess.

Last night, there was nothing interesting to watch on tv, so I put left the channel on A&E. They were showing something about white supremacists, but I was only vaguely listening since I was reading Watchmen at the time. Soon after finishing chapter 2, I looked up at the screen and they were talking about about a certain pair of supremacists and how they, "Buried a dog up to its neck, put fireworks in its mouth, and lit them." Its horrifying to think a living creature would be treated in such a way.

Those words lingered in my head for the rest of the night, and I knew I'd be having a dream about that.

I did. And it was so horrible that I don't even want to describe it. This was actually one of the few times I've forced myself to wake up.

So...that's it. I just had to get that out or else I'd probably be thinking about that dream for the rest of the day.

Dammit, that stupid song by Paris Hilton is stuck in my head. Ugh...

:( That's so sad...... I hate stories like that too. I ponder it for a moment and then wonder How could someone EVER do that???? People are terrible.

And this has nothing to do with the post but where and how do you get your Loveless theme? I am absolutly in LOVE with it....like so much. XD

It makes me sad to think that some people believe the lives of pets (and other animals) aren't as important as a human life. ;_;

As much as I hate to admit, it is catchy. ARGH.

The Loveless theme was made by fruitchew and is available for download here (http://fruitchew.livejournal.com/12913.html?mode=reply) (there's even a preview of the whole moodtheme too). ♥ It's so cute~! I had bookmarked that post back in April and finally remembered about it earlier this month. MY MEMORY IS SLOW.

Oh well.....maybe I'll make one of my own eventually. Do I have to put in a bunch of seperate URLs? It loked like a long process to make a theme work? But I'm confused. XD

Which one of the download options did you use? I checked the one for MegaUpload, and it looks like its still up. Yousendit links only last about a week, and Sendspace has been crappy lately.

I could always send the zip to you through email, or upload it here (on yousendit) if you'd like. :)

As for making the theme work, I've just went by the installation instructions (http://community.livejournal.com/crackified/603.html) crackified posted (of course, I have a paid account, so the steps might be different with a plus account). I haven't tried to do it the long way (i.e. making my own adminconsole file, etc.) yet though so I don't know exactly what to do.
