But the urge to squash Issu is great.

A sign that you've been playing Okami way too much: Every time you spy a tree, sadly bereft of all its leaves, you have the urge to whip out your Celestial Brush and perform "bloom" on it. I HAVE OKAMI ON THE BRAIN.
Should I disappear off the face of lj again, you'll most likely find me glued to the tv, totally immersed in the beautiful, beautiful world of Okami. ♥ But I have a feeling I'll start updating more once school starts next weeksince I'm a big fan of procrastination.
------
Speaking of returning to college:
Bro: What about Art History?
Me: ...
Me Are you sure you want to take Art History?
Me: Wait, before I tell you about it, take a look at these [pulls out about a million flashcards of art slides from last semester] and these [pulls out tests]. (Explanation of exams, blah blah blah, gotta memorize a ton of information, blah blah blah, only 3 grades the whole semester, blah blah blah, somewhat high drop out rate.)
Bro: [stares]
Me: I don't think you want to take this course. (And what I really mean by this is "YOU WOULDN'T MAKE IT OUT ALIVE.")
Bro: ...So...yeah. [goes back to petting the cat as if this conversation never happened]
As one of the few who survived the first semester of Art History, and despite my totally unnecessary wails of despair over it (I made an A, people!), I signed up for a second semester of it.
------
EDIT. There's a live-action Hana-Kimi?! WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD OF THIS BEFORE.

Date: 2007-01-11 01:58 am (UTC)Art History is interesting if you enjoy learning about different periods of art (I'm a fan of the Gothic and Renaissance periods) and a bunch of useless information about all the individual pieces you go over in class. But if you hate memorizing tons of info then this class would be hell on earth. <----Which is why I tried to scare my brother out of it. I liked it though, so I guess I'm just a masochist.

Date: 2007-01-11 03:36 pm (UTC)I update during school usually because I have free time in class.
I would be so bored with Art History I think. I love DOING art, not reading about other people doing it. Maybe that makes me strange but I just don't think I'd be interested, but I think I have to take it. :/

Date: 2007-01-11 05:31 am (UTC)Have you had any insane classes yet? I don't mean hard classes. I mean the ones that you hear about from upper classmen years before you take them. Example: I'm taking Vertebrate Zoology this semester. Ever since I started taking biology classes I've heard about this class and this professor. I've heard about his tests, his lab, everything. This is a class from hell. Last semester my Microbiology class was like that. Every test over half the people failed. Out of about 150 students, there were only 4-5 A's each test. And only 10-30 B's. O_O I somehow got an A in that class. God I love curves to classes like that.
So yeah... just wondering if you're doing good or if you've found that one class that you have to give 400,403,278,343% just to pass.

Date: 2007-01-12 01:38 am (UTC)I haven't had any classes that I would call "insane", but some have given me a difficult time where I'm forced to have an emo moment over them (<---though that was pretty much unneeded since I did fine in those classes).
