Statue (landmark?) of Sam Houston
Taken while driving past it on the way to Dallas.

My brother thinks this picture is hilarious because of the blurry "No Parking" sign at the bottom. XD I think its hilarious that he always mistakes this as a statue of Andrew Jackson.

I'm a big fan of taking TOTALLY USELESS pictures (i.e. ones that I snap as we're on the freeway when I spot random buildings I like). So here is the coolest shopping center I've ever seen. Check out that architecture! These were taken 2 years ago on our way to A-Kon. Clearly I need to look through my picture folders more often. XD

I'm so glad I don't have to take my art history book (its heavy!) to college on the days I have to take this one or else my backpack would be insanely heavy. I'm only 5' tall and built like a stick, textbook-makers! Give me lighter books!

When I was in high school I used to have to carry most of my books around with me since my locker was in the least convenient place ever. ARGH. They killed my back. I'm glad my backpack isn't as heavy now as it used to be.
