Not the cellphone thief.

ghostdriveSo, like I sort of mentioned in my previous post, my mom had her cellphone stolen Friday night when she and my aunt went to a casino in Oklahoma after dropping us off of the Adam's Mark. She had set it down on the counter-top of a restroom and someone took it while she was in one of the stalls. Yeah, my mom has some pretty ditzy moments.
Anyway, when my aunt found out, she and my mom walked around the casino while calling the number to see if they could hear her ringtone. No luck for them since the sound of the crowd drowned out everything.And besides, my mom doesn't exactly have the best hearing. Sometimes when we're talking over the phone, she'll mistake the sound of my door squeaking for a cat's meow. ._.
On Saturday morning my aunt resumed calling my mom's number repeatedly, but then she started calling my number by mistake, so I woke up to the weirdest most confusing phone calls EVER. My own aunt didn't even recognize my voice and was threatening me, wanted to know who I was and why I took her phone! I kept on saying, "This is Kathy, what are you talking about?" but she wouldn't listen, and then my mom's voice popped up in the background, "You idiot! You're calling Kathy!" My aunt gave an embarrassed "whoops" and hung up.
WHAT A WAY TO START THE MORNING. I laugh hysterically when I think about it now. (And we teased her about it for the rest of the trip.)

In other news, I ENVY THOSE OF YOU WHO CAN TOLERATE THE HEAT. Our air conditioner is currently broken (again!) and I'm dying. D:

EDIT. Ah, animal cosplay. It cracks me up. First I saw a dog dressed up as Amaterasu from Okami, and then a guinea pig dressed up like Solid Snake. ...Sort of. XD The best thing about that link is this comment:
