CONTEXT OF THE POLL: I don't like onions, at all. The taste, the smell, even the texture makes me want to gag. If I order a burger from a fast food place and even one teeny bit of onion ends up in it after I've asked specifically for no onions, that's it, MEAL RUINED. I'm serious! But for some insane reason I will eat onion rings and think nothing of it. My brother calls me a hypocrite, haha.

The thing is, I have friends who are exactly the same way; Gina, Tammy, and, I think, Katherine are all for onion rings. Are we all just a tad weird when it comes to onions? Or [gasp!] are there more of us out there? THIS CAN'T JUST BE A SOUTH TEXAS THING. Personally, I think the oh-so-delicious crispy batter of onion rings is what may hold the key to this.

I hated onions, and then I started eating onion rings, which lead to me really LIKING onions. Now I can eat a whole onion on its own XDD

:O That's actually pretty amazing to me. I mean, there are certain foods I've eaten so much that I've later grown to hate, but never the other way around. XD

Me and onions have been enemies ever since I was five and I became insanely sick after eating from the wrong enchilada platter my mom had set out. It was like heartburn, a horrible stomach ache, and nausea all rolled into one. Too much for a five-year old! XDD
