Yesterday I nearly made a post that was full of EMO, since this is the time of year that I get grumpy and withdrawn and mildly depressed, but then I went to go look at the pumpkin posts over at Kotaku and guess what? Instant (temporary) mood brightener! My favorites:

The comments for a few of these run afoul with "photoshopped!" accusations, but I don't care. I love video game pumpkins as much as I love game cakes. ♥

And perhaps its just because I haven't been searching hard enough, but today was the first day I've ever seen a Wii in stock anywhere. Target had a bunch of them and I just stood there in front of them for several minutes, debating whether to buy one or not. I really want to play Twilight Princess (plus a few other games) and my brother refuses to buy the Gamecube version since he also wants a Wii. (He's just too cheap to buy one on his own--he wants me to buy him one. WHAT.) We lack the common sense to split the cost in half and buy one for the both of us.

In the end I didn't buy it since I've already spent $300+ this month on a PSP, several games, and a 2GB memory stick. My spending habits are only going to get worse in the next couple of months since I have both my brother's birthday (and mine, of course, 'cause of the whole twin thing :P) and Christmas to shop for. D:

EDIT. A Triforce DS Lite! I WANT.

I had a dream last night I bought a DS and was playing Kingdom Hearts on it. XD It was random.

If I hadn't of spent a majority of October in a moody funk, I probably would have tried to carve my own pumpkin. (Argh, I keep on typing out "pumpking". XD) The pumpkins shown on Kotaku were just so awesome! The day after I made this entry, they posted a few more there and this Okami one (http://kotaku.com/gaming/pumpkin/okami-pumpkin-extravaganza-blows-our-socks-into-halloween-2008-316534.php) has to my favorite. I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. This Pac-man one (http://kotaku.com/gaming/pumpkin/pac+man-dots-and-clyde-317055.php) is cute as well.

Haha, that dream is so random. Maybe your brain is anxious to play that "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" game that was announced for the DS a short while ago. XD
