Ten of the past twenty-four hours have been spent playing Persona 3. This game is addicting.

• My brother has started to refer to this game as "that school sim". XD
  
  
• The main character is so adorable. ♥ I love his little mannerisms: his slightly slouching posture, the way he keeps his hands in his pockets (even when he's running), and ...um, more stuff. (Fuck this headache!)
  
  
• Akihiko's persona Polydeuces has such a hilariously bulging codpiece.
  
  
• I've already developed a bad habit of getting attached to my Personae, no matter how low their levels are (and no matter how frequent their cards show up after battles). I need to start fusing them together to get stronger ones. After all, I'll probably get the lower level ones back anyway.
  
  
• Female student: I would be happy just to be run over by Mitsuru-senpai! Bring on her burning hot wheels!
  
  I probably would have laughed more at this if I didn't also have a massive girl-crush on Mitsuru. I ADMIT IT. Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to possibly scoring a date with her later on in the game?

You know, I started this post expecting to ramble (most likely incoherently) on and on and on about Persona 3, but now I can't think of anything else to talk about. Guess I'll go back to playing the game.

EDIT. I just realized I haven't left the house since last Tuesday. I really am a recluse. [sobs]

I still have yet to play through that game... or even turn it on. I'm horrible sometimes.

You may or may not have heard the rumor that Atlus will be bringing Persona 3: FES (Sort of a Director's Cut + sequel) out in 2008. It's pure speculation, but some interesting things have happened regarding it. EGM reported it in the newest issue (how I dislike that magazine now, but the rumor section is usually spot on.) And Atlus had an allusion to it on their site and promptly took it down after someone speculated it to be about Person 3: FES.

Here's hoping.

Persona 4 is coming out on PS2 (yes, 2) in Japan Q1 of 2008. So we can look forward to that this year as well (I hope). *hugs Atlus*

I really hope the FES rumors are true. ♥

And this game is consuming my soul, Michael, my soooooooul. I've played for a little over 18 hours now, and, if the in-game calendar is any indication, I'm still far from the end. I foresee myself being even more of a recluse. XD

(Speaking of EGM... I miss the old days when the magazine was like 300+ pages; back when advertisements didn't take up more than a third of the actual content. I still read it today--since Santos has a subscription--, but its really irritating to get to the end of an article and have it say "For the full story, check out 1UP.com." UGH. Even the "Hsu and Chan" comic isn't entertaining anymore. Oh well, at least Seanbaby's articles are usually funny.)

And thanks for the heads up on Persona 4! I wasn't even aware a new one was being made. (And now I am excited over it even though I know nothing about it! Haha!)
