AUGH.

MY EARRING FELL INTO THE TOILET.

So I put on a plastic glove, fished it out, and took it to the sink for washing/disinfecting...where it slipped from my fingers to fall down the drain.

[sigh]

I'll take that as a sign that it wanted to roam free with all the other lost earrings in the sewer system. :|

When it fell down the drain I just stared at it as if pop back up. Come on! I put my hand in the toilet for you!
