Me: (sets down Baroque on the counter)
GameStop employee: Nooooooooooo. You do not want this game.
Me: ...
GameStop employee: I tried this game out since I thought it'd be something interesting and...blah, blah, blah, goes on about how the title is misleading, why he didn't like the game, etc. You sure you still want it?
Me: Eh, even if I don't like it, it'll be my problem for buying it once I leave here.
GameStop employee: But are you really sure you wanna buy it? Anyway, if you decide you don't like it you can always trade it in.
Ahahaha, he seemed pretty desperate in convincing me not to get Baroque. But alas, once I get it into my head that I want a game (even if it may be terrible), it will always be added to my ever-growing collection. And sorry, dude, I've been known to keep even the crappiest of games, so I never do trade-ins. Case in point: Chaos Legion.
I also picked up Arcana Heart, a fighting game with an all-female cast, and yes, Mr. GameStop employee, I am aware that the game's target audience is male, just let me buy the games I want, please. I always choose female characters in fighting games anyway, so this game is perfect for me (plus I think its hilarious that each girl is a moe archetype XD).
I know I'm probably (sorta) complaining about the employee too much, but he actually did tell me something important. Apparently the GameStops in the Calallen area are getting copies of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. I WANT THIS GAME SO MUCH. Too bad I am terrible with directions and wouldn't be able to find my way. XD Seriously, ask me to find someplace I've never been to before and its like you've just shoved me out into the world with a paper bag over my head. I get lost here in Corpus! And I've lived here more than ten years!

Stacy London would be so proud of me: I finally went in for a proper bra fitting today. I've spent most of my bra-wearing years in sports bras (horrifying, I know), and since I've recently added to my wardrobe I am in desperate need of real bras. Sports bras under dressy outfits look terrible. Why did no one stop me before? [waaaaaaaails] D:
Unfortunately, my size seems to be hard to find (28A), so I need some help in knowing what stores I should be looking in.
So yeah. Any suggestions for stores would be great. Or should I be looking online? Would it be easier online? I HAVE NO IDEA SINCE I'VE NEVER GONE SHOPPING FOR REAL BRAS BEFORE. [clueless]

Date: 2008-05-04 11:48 pm (UTC)Victoria's Secret, you say? Man, just thinking about walking into that store makes me feel embarrassed (mostly because I'm constantly mistaken for a 12-year old and I'd feel a bit like an outsider there XD). But I'll give it a try the next time I'm in the mall.
If I don't chicken out.[thumbs up] And now that I've checked their website and seen that they do carry my size, I'm kinda happy. Thanks for your help! :)

Date: 2008-05-05 04:09 am (UTC)Victoria Secret, ah what can I say. It's pure evil, but it makes you feel oh so pretty at the same time! XD Lol! And I'm constantly being mistaken for several years younger than I actually am. Its really annoying most of the time. Though it can be flattering sometimes. And yes, I know what you mean. I hate going in there most of the time. I see guys in there shopping with their girlfriends and I just want to go up their, start screaming "Pervert, get out of here!" and start hitting them with my shopping bag! >_>; Is that wrong? It makes me mad their girlfriends bring them in in the first place. Duuuuude.
But be brave! *thumbs up* and if you see any dudes, spray them in the eyes with perfume. >:D
