ghostdrive: ([bang bang] Persona 3)

Another boring update, this time with video game news.

× Atlus announces a release date for Persona 4 at their Anime Expo panel. Its coming out on December 9 in a 2-disc edition (game + soundtrack) for only $39.99.

Check out the official site for more information.

× At another Anime Expo panel, David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake, spoke about his role in the Metal Gear Solid series, including that he found the alternate ending to MGS, in which Snake and Otacon ride off into the sunset on a snowmobile, humiliating to get through. That's probably not a surprise though since I'm pretty sure he's said similar things before. Me, I loved that scene, but then again, I'm totally the target audience for its unintentional homoerotic feel. XD Can love bloom on the battlefield, Snake? In my mind it does between you and Otacon and Raiden and anyone else I pair you off with in my head. XDD

His criticisms/comments on the series are interesting to read, though.

I really like Capcom as well. And Konami and Squeenix. Those three and Atlus are probably my favorite companies currently.

I've never played any of the Tales series. Are they worth checking out? And if so, which ones.

Random question! You saw the pictures I posted from A-Kon right? The only reason I ask is you usually comment alot and on that one you didn't.

ah, yes i did. you must've had a lot of fun, did you go to many of the panels or the game room. perhaps rave, lol i like playing games against others in streetfighter, soulcalibur and smashbros. brawl. and hanging out in the dealers room. the tales games are real fun and very amusing, art and animation, music, story and character interaction is outstanding. the battle system is fun too, check it out on youtube they realy are great games. i have tales of symphonia for the gamecube and tales of the abyss for ps2, oh and the first one on gba. my favorite one so far is tales of symphonia (gc or on ps2) and they're made by namco and bandai. yeah if you find a copy of a tales game i suggest you buy it cause even if you dont like it you could sell it for a far price online, very popular games.
