Meme from [livejournal.com profile] depperte:
1. Take a picture of your bag.
2. Now dump everything out, neatly adjust them, and take a picture (no matter how embarrassing).
3. Talk about the items inside. Details!

I had so much stuff crammed in this thing! After taking the photos for this meme I cleared out at least half of it by putting items back in their proper places on my shelves.

I bought this at A-Kon, a Kiki's Delivery Service mascot in a round tin. It was a blind item, so I had a one in eight chance of getting the mascot/keychain-thingy I really wanted and somehow I got my favorite one! How lucky. I've been meaning to add Jiji to my keychain, but I think I'll just leave him in his tin as a good luck charm. He's too adorable for my crappy keychain anyway.

Here's another shot of it since I like it so much:

Gah! Its so cute! ♥ I wish I had the Lily one, too. (They make a heart when put together.)

I don't wear make-up mainly because I have no idea how to put it on. [sob] I'M 23! WHY DIDN'T MY MOM EVER TEACH ME., but I always carry chapstick and oil blotting sheets with me. Is it sad that the only beauty tip you'll probably hear from me is that wearing Carmex on top of Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm is like the best thing ever? I FAIL AT BEING A GIRL.

Two notebooks, a pen and a pencil. I'm such an obsessive note taker; I'll jot down even the randomest of things. The green notebook (which I've added random kitty stickers to :3) is the only one that has stuff written in it since the polka dot one is new. What sorts of things do I have written in it? Grocery lists, video game release dates, Silent Hill 2 clues, Patapon army combinations/mini-game information, and a bunch of ramblings over Love Pistols.

Photobucket
My Nintendo DS, its carrying case, and three games (Animal Crossing: Wild World, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and Cooking Mama 2) in their own plastic case. Aaaaahhh, I love my DS. I will never be bored when its around.

If I had a proper case for my PSP I'd so take it everywhere with me as well.

Photobucket
The most boring things in my bag, my wallet and checkbook. Fact: I have Hello Kitty checks. Fact: I am an incredible dork.

Photobucket
My thumbdrive (1GB in size) with a Minish/Picori (from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap) gashopon figure attached to it. I love that little Minish so much, I don't care that he often gets me weird looks at my college's computer lab.

The other day I picked up these two thread colors (christmas red and parrot green) for my cross-stitch project. Beneath the thread is my nearly complete project. Can you guess what game its based off of? In a few days I'll probably post a poll asking what color I should stitch in the background with. I CAN'T DECIDE ON MY OWN.

My newest video game buy, LocoRoco! Funny thing is, I had completely forgotten I even had it until I emptied my bag to take these photos. XDDD I haven't had a chance to play much of it yet, but I'm crazy over its design.

I generally carry at least one book with me but this time I had three! Penny Arcade volume 5: The Case of the Mummy's Gold, Vampire Hunter D volume 9: The Rose Princess, and Mushishi volume 4. I highly recommend Mushishi to those of you who enjoy stories about folklore and the supernatural. Its a manga with a quiet feel to it, but I remember when I read the first volume how much the chapters roared in my head for days afterward. In my opinion it is one of the most incredible series I've ever come across. As for Vampire Hunter D, well, as long as you don't mind the repeated descriptions of D as "beautiful darkness" or "handsome coldness" or whatever else he's described as in each and every book (Gah! It drives me crazy sometimes!), then its a pretty good series. Plus, it has illustrations by my favorite Yoshitaka Amano. ♥

And yes, I am one of those crazy people that buys the Penny Arcade collections even though I could easily read them at their website for nothing.

Normally I'd also have my mp3 player (a Sansa e250) with its totally ripped up headphones that are in desperate need of replacing in there, but ever since I started having issues with my left ear I've been using it less. Also, I accidentally transferred a corrupted song into it a few weeks ago and now its fucked up. I mean, it still works, but man, its a mess. I hope I can fix it. ;_;

× Udon is releasing a Street Fighter tribute book in August. Oh man, I so want this. But its $80 and I'm unwilling to pay that much for it. D: ...But then again, it looks so cool! And I love Capcom! GAAAAHH. [waffles over it] I think I'll ask for it for Christmas. Yes, that's what I'll do. Maybe...

Randomly, I like the Zangief piece (scroll to the bottom) Gabe from Penny Arcade did. ♥

× LocoRoco 2 Confirmed. Yay!

× Patapon 2 Announced. Double yay! Now that I've played enough of Patapon to have its addictive chanting bored into my head day and night (stop, PLEASE STOP) I totally understand this Penny Arcade strip.

× Just a heads-up to those of you wanting to pick up the reprint of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne: its currently on sale at Amazon for $29.99. Shit. I could have saved $10 if I had just waited on ordering this. [bought it two weeks ago]

In my opinion your not missing out. I think it's weird. they're gummy and strange. But Momoko's is cool 'cause it has a bazillion different flavors at least.

I don't think there's one anywhere. But who knows, maybe a place has opened up. Google it. XD
