ghostdrive: ([bang bang] Persona 3)

Composite connectors made everything (and by "everything" I'm mainly referring to my DVD player and PS2) look like shit on my new TV, so I pretty much ignored Persona 4 until I finally picked up some component connectors. Off the bat, the picture quality was so much better; colors that looked off previously look correct now, jagged lines were smoother, etc. My brother enjoyed the difference so much that he kinda hogged my TV for a while, adjusting the picture settings and playing Guitar Hero I/II/III and Katamari Damacy. That's not to say everything looks better now. There's no problems with my DVD player, but some of my PS2 games look just as bad on component as they did on composite. (Ex. the cut scenes in Yakuza look pretty terrible. -_-)

But at least I get to get back to playing P4 now. \o/

I know there's no penalty for dating multiple girls in P4, but damn, when I was given the chance declare my love for Chie I ended up wimping out due to fictional romantic obligations. That Yukiko, I couldn't bear to betray her even though I had already maxed out her social link. I'm still gonna date Naoto, though. Me and my "Prince Detective" are gonna be likethis. XD And maybe Ayane as well, since the thought of her and MC is just too hilarious to me. Lol, she's so much like a little mouse.

For the life of me I can't seem to fuse Tao Tie. I tried the Makami x Ose combination I read on Chao Min Wu's FAQ, but the end result wasn't Tao Tie. It was Yo-something-or-other (I think). Maybe I'll try out the other fusing option--if I can figure out how to create Samael, that is. Help meeeee.

EDIT. Other combinations to try: Slime x Asparas x Sandman, Kusi Mitama x Mothman, Sylph x Orobas x Hou-ou. Let's make it happen, MC!

EDIT.2. Just to remind myself: a list of fusion recipes.

My PS2 games look like crap on my TV, too. But I have only two component connections on it, which the Wii and PS3 are using. I wonder if it'd be worth it to get component cables for the ps2 and just hook up the Wii through regular cables? The Wii is the least used of my consoles and it doesn't look sharp even with the component cables. >:P

Component connectors made a definite improvement in my PS2 picture quality.

But, like I mentioned in the post, some games still look about the same as they did before I switched cables. Especially older games, but I guess that's to be expected. Some games look a bit worse, but my brother says that I'm just noticing all the imperfections I never saw on my old SDTV.

I've yet to see how my PS1 games look on my TV, but I'm guessing, eh, they've gonna look not so great. XD
