Shojo Beat

Viz recently announced that they will launch Shojo Beat Magazine that is similar to their Shonen Jump magazine. Currently of the six titles that will be in the serialized in Shojo Beat, only two I'm interested in: Ai Yazawa's "Nana" and Kaori Yuki's "Godchild". Though I am curious why they are calling it "Godchild" when the original title is "Count Cain" (or you can also call it "Earl Cain") and Godchild is the title of the last 6 volumes of Count Cain. Are they not going to release the first 5 volumes of Count Cain. It would be stupid if they didn't, since the first volumes are important in introducing the characters and their backgrounds.

What amused me about the summary Viz had on "Godchild" they called Riff "Cain's faithful manservant". Hahaha, somehow that sounds so wrong. Why couldn't they call him "Cain's faithful butler"? That sounds a hell of a lot better than manservant. Manservant kind of gives off the creepy connotation of him being a sex slave.

Now I'm going to go back to watching "The Breakfast Club" 'cause I love '80s Brat Pack movies (after that, Sixteen Candles is on).

When I woke up this morning, I was having a dream where a character from Final Fantasy 7, Vincent Valentine, was writing out an outline for a fanfiction story. The first thought I had when I remembered this was about how utterly ridiculous it was for Vincent to write fanfiction. But then I thought, what the hell, I'll try it out myself. So under the lj-cut is part of an AU (alternate universe) story involving Vincent Valentine when he is in the Turks. Other characters included from FF7 are Reno, who was also a Turk, but at a different time period than Vincent, and Cloud Strife, the leader of Avalanche. In this story they are both in the Turks with Vincent.

This is only what I've written so far.

Part of a possible Final Fantasy 7 fic. )

*The Honeybee Incident is in reference to the part in FF7 where Cloud has to dress up as a woman in order to infiltrate Don Corneo's mansion and save Aeris. Haha, I always tried to make sure Cloud got the best items for this part (such as the silk dress, blonde wig, diamond tiara, etc.) I think that part of the game was the most amusing.

As a side note, I think I use the suffix -ly too much. I may edit what I've written later. I'll possibly post more of the bits and pieces of this story that are floating around in my head. Such as why Vincent cut his hair, him teaming up with Aeris, a conversation with Reno.
