Ever since my mom broke her leg at the end of December, I'm been slacking off in my room cleaning duties. I'm sure if I took a picture of my room now, some of you wouldn't think it was messy, but to me it is since I'm usually so tidy. There are empty medication bottles stacked (neatly) on my entertainment center! Piles of (neatly collected together) papers/magazines on the floor! Various items are out of place! My little artificial Christmas tree is still up! (But in my defense, that tree is damn cute.) And to top it off, my two big bookshelves are coated in a thin layer of dust. The other shelves I've keep (mostly) dust-free, but the two that hold all my manga, DVDs and photobooks I could easily draw dust pictures on.

Doing everything all at once seems so daunting to me, so I'll use common sense and do a little bit at a time. Tomorrow I will finally box up my Christmas tree and its ornaments and pretend not to be that crazy person who keeps up Christmas decorations far longer than necessary.
