Ate lunch with my mom, brother, and five other relatives at Sirloin Stockade and managed to confuse the cashier with my age. One of my aunts told me to say I was twelve to get a child's discount, but I just told the cashier my actual age (20). The cashier did not believe me (which is a reaction I get a lot). She thought I was kidding, so my brother and I ended up being billed as "Kid's buffet all day". ^^;

Then there was a total ghetto moment when another aunt hid pieces of steak in a plastic kid's cup in order to take them home. Why? She was too lazy to buy a "buffet to go" plate and decided to sneak out some food for her husband. So ghetto. As my uncle so poetically stated, "You can take the people out of Molina, but you can't take the Molina out of people." Molina is pretty much the hispanic ghetto of Corpus. The above stated aunt and my mom (her sister) grew up there (as did their eight fellow siblings). What's funny is that you can usually tell who grew up in Molina because they're all a bit crazy. ^^;

...I'm so hungry right now. SOMEONE GIVE ME FOOD!
