Cats and planes and video games, that's what little Kathys are made of.

When my cats run around the house it sounds like tiny, little horses have invaded. Bingo even meows in a way that resembles neighing. ...She's a weird cat. ^^;

While skimming through the FF7 section of ff.net I wondered, why exactly is the pairing of Vincent/Yuffie (a.k.a. Yuffietine) so popular? Not that I'm complaining, this is actually a couple I'm fond of. Exactly why I like them together I do not know. Is it a popular pairing because personality-wise they are complete opposites? Vincent is dark, taciturn, and stoic (ooooh, my favorite characteristics ♥), while Yuffie is such a perky, motion-sickness-suffering, kleptomaniac. They both are pretty opposite in their appearance as well, so maybe some just like how they look together. *shrugs* Is it because they are both hidden characters in the game? That would seem awfully convienient...maybe.

Bleh, who cares why it's popular, I'll like it for no reason at all. I'm a big fan of the Vincent/Aeris pairing (if you forget the whole Aeris-dies-halfway-through-the-game thing) and an even bigger fan of Vincent/Tifa. ♥ ♥ ♥ Of course, there are the yaoi pairings, of which I love Vincent/Cloud and Cid/Vincent. (EDIT: Man, totally forgot about Reno/Vincent. Now that's Turk Love.) Sorry Vincent, but you're such a whore in my world. I think most of the FF7 couples I like include Vincent in them because he is my favorite character of that game (and my favorite overall of the Final Fantasy series).

[Random story: In the part of the game when you first visit Wutai and Yuffie steals everyones materia I will remember FOR ETERNITY. Why? One day I had been playing FF7 for about 3 and a half hours when I came to the above mentioned portion. I wanted to save the game because, well, all my materia was gone and if I died I didn't want to have to start over from the last save point. The game would not save. I thought the game had froze, so with much annoyance and frustration I pushed the 'restart' button. Turns out the game did not freeze, my controller had just become slightly unplugged. GGGARRRRRRGGGHHH! This actually made me scream and attempt to smash the controller into the ground. My first encounter with "Video Game RAGE". I had to replay 3 and half hours of gameplay for no reason at all. Now, if the game ever freezes, the controller is the first thing I check. ^^;]

I do hope that my Maaya Sakamoto cds come in the mail tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

[Don't mind my subject line, it is meant to make no sense. ...I guess.]

EDIT: Favorite line from the Futurama episode "Roswell That End Well": "The President is gagging on my gas bladder. What an honor." Oh Zoidberg, you are by far the best lobster/crustacean/alien creature ever. ♥

Videogame RAGE! I hate it, but I get it quite often. :( Ever play Jak II? A whole lot of my rage came out in that game...

I haven't played any of the Jak games, but Devil May Cry is one of those games that forever has me flinging controllers at the ground. My carpet is the only reason I don't have like a bajillion broken controllers. Its oh so satisfying to fling those suckers as hard as I can at the floor.
