DOOM!

My brother is obsessed with Doom. He plays it nonstop on his computer, my PS1, my PS2...give me back my systems dammit! Oh well, I shouldn't talk, I get the same way with Final Fantasy and Zelda games.

Listening to Disc 2 of the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack has made me remember exactly how much I hate the Gummi Ship. GAH! Its like the Blitzball mini-game of FFX, I just could not get into it.

The urge to babble over any and all FF games is immense. Must...resist...

[My apologies for not commenting much on anyone's lj lately. I don't know why, but I feel bad if someone thinks I'm not keeping up with their journal (which I am). Bleh, guess this is one of those "comment lulls". *shrugs*]

Tell Santos Doom sucks and FF and Zelda are 189971232x better. :)

I too hated the Gummi Ship and Blitzball. Also, the card games in FF8 and FF9.

Squaresoft should just stay away from mini-games....they're not intresting!! Although I did kinda start getting into the FF8 card game. It was mainly just the quest for rare cards, it was entertaining! The gummi ship was just evil and blitzball I just didn't get, it was too boring!

Yeah, the Triple Triad card game of FF8 was entertaining to me too. I was obsessed with getting rare and powerful cards.

The Gold Saucer from FF7 and its multitude of mini-games was really interesting in my opinion. I used to be super good at Chocobo racing, but recently when I played the game again (trying to get the Knights of the Round materia) I discovered my skills suck now.

When I first tried getting Knights of the Round I found it impossible because I could NOT for the life of me race the Chocobo. It always lost. Then my friend played and he got the chocobos working. I was like, "What's my problem!! Then he was like, "Did you feed it?" I was like, "You can feed it?" I felt so lame. After that I understood it and it was quite fun.

The Gold Saucer is amusing probably the better of FF mini-games. 'Cause you have CHOICES! Except I really hate that submarine one....

Maybe that's my problem. I feed my best chocobo my best greens (if I remember correctly, its a Mountain Chocobo), but I tend to give the others cheap-o greens. ...Its been awhile since I last played, so maybe I'll have better luck now.
