Warning: Total Geek Post

Had a total geek moment today when, on the Sci-Fi Channel, a promo of the latest season of Stargate SG-1 was shown and I spotted none other than Ben Browder and Claudia Black! Okay, this probably means nothing to anyone else, but I ADORED them as John Crichton and Aeryn Sun on Farscape. And since the Farscape series is done with, I was immensely happy to see them together on screen again. My actual reaction to the promo was, "Hey...isn't that Ben Browder?! And wait, Claudia Black's here too?! John and Aeryn?! ♥ ♥ ♥" I will probably forever associate them with their Farscape characters. For a brief moment, my brain was contemplating a crossover of the two series. For shame Kathy!

...Okay, I have to geek over Farscape one more time. Somebody stop me! But the series is finally going into syndication this October. Yay! Now I can watch the series all over again instead of waiting for the Sci-Fi channel to put it back into rotation, or have a marathon, or whatever. Alas, this probably means the resumption of my brother's teasing of me for my Farscape love, but oh well. ♥

The dub version of Naruto premieres on Cartoon Network this Saturday. I have a feeling chuunin is going to be inundated with elitist posts totally bemoaning the "crappiness" of it. Ah, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until I actually see it for myself. Even if it is pretty bad, I just have to wait for the dvd releases. Have patience elitist Narutards!

I had NO idea that Naruto finally got dubbed. This saddens me kinda. Naruto was like the most mainstream without being dubbed it was kinda cool. Now it'll be EVERYWHERE. Dang.

I adore Naruto as well (much love for Iruka and Kakashi), so at first news of a dub was disappointing. But even if the English voice actors do end up being sucky, there will still be the uncut-dvd releases with subtitles. (<----Though, those won't be released for awhile. Blast! More waiting for me.)

Oh yeah, did you know there's going to be Naruto merchandise at Hot Topic? Now that's what really saddens me. ;_;

Just found out, the uncut/unedited Naruto dvds are set to come out July '06.

Wow, already out in Hot Topic? All though they have really mainstream animes there, I do like most of them, I have 3 myself. ^^;; So knowing me I'll probably buy one. But it's still depressing all the same.


There's NO WAY I can try to collect all the Naruto DVDs WAY too many. All though maybe by then I'll get Netflix again and I can just rent them. Score!

Subs are always better ♥

I've heard they're releasing Naruto in 13-episode boxsets. Still, with 100+ episodes, that's a lot of boxsets to buy. And knowing me, I'll probably end up buying them all. ^^; GAH! I can't resist the call of anime!

For me, I like both subs and dubs. I guess it just depends on which version I watch first (usually within the first episode I can decided what version I like better). Like Prince of Tennis, I've only watched the subs (my friend let me borrow her burned dvds) and I can't imagine watching it any other way.
